The experience take place in the seaview grandmother villa, where we live together from when i was born. Are you ready to discover the unique flavors of the local cuisine transmitted by my grandmother, while exploring our traditional Italian lifestyle? The experience is hands-on and you can learn some valuable cooking skills and tips.
Here you will be the chef and the diner, learning to cook the specialties of our cuisine, handed down to me by my grandmother!
You will learn new cooking techniques, all from the scratch that you can easily replicate at home, such as learning how to make gnocchi, eggplant parmesan and the typical tiramsù. You will be completely immersed in the Italian lifestyle in a convivial atmosphere among lemon and olive trees, and I show you also how we produce olive oil and limoncello. My goal is that this experience remains in your mind but above all in your heart!

We will be happy also to tell you something about our life, our aspirations and passions, exchanging opinions, suggestions and advices. We wish that you will able to cook Italian dish at home transmitting to your guests what you have learned, but above all we wish that this experience will remain in your mind and in your heart.

5.00This was absolutely one of the highlights of our entire trip. The chef is such a character—high energy and hilarious, and just makes you feel right at home. It’s not super formal, more like hanging out in someone's amazing kitchen with a glass of wine and learning a few tricks. We made gnocchi, eggplant parm, and tiramisu, and honestly, I was shocked how good everything turned out. The view from their family's place is insane, like straight out of a postcard. If you're looking for something fun and a little different from the usual tourist stuff, do this. You'll eat great food and laugh a lot. Totally worth every penny

5.00A must do!!!! Went with my husband & 2 sons (ages 11 & 14) & it was truly a highlight of the trip. Cristiano & Judy were a fabulous host! We made some great food & were able to enjoy it with wine & stunning views! Cristiano drove us past their family restaurant on the way to drop us off. We ended up going there for dinner & meet some more of the family. Amazing food, great wine. It was a perfect way to end our trip! Highly recommended!

5.00Our cooking class in Sorrento with Cristiano was one of the most genuine and memorable experiences of our entire trip. From the moment he welcomed us into his family home, complete with stunning seaside views, we felt like we were visiting old friends rather than attending a class. Cristiano was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He taught us all the insider tricks for creating the most amazing eggplant parm. His teaching style made everything feel fun and approachable, and he kept us entertained the entire time. We also had the pleasure of spending time with Judy, a family member who was an absolute delight. My mom adored her so much she practically wanted to take her home with us. Their warmth made the whole experience feel authentic, intimate, and full of heart. To top it all off, Cristiano went above and beyond by dropping us off closer to our hotel when it started raining, a small gesture that meant a lot and perfectly summed up his thoughtfulness. If you want a cooking class that feels like being welcomed into an Italian family’s home, full of great food, laughter, and genuine hospitality, we cannot recommend this experience enough.

5.00We had a great time at this cooking class in Sorrento! Transportation, class, and experience were amazing. Cristiano picked us up and took us to his family's house, where we met others and were able to learn how to cook eggplant parmesan and gnocchi. This was our honeymoon and it was such a special start to our trip!

5.00Our experience with Penisola Cooking Experience was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. The food we made was absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to recreate the dishes for our family back home! Chef Cristiano was hilarious and welcoming! And a big shoutout to Aunt Juditha as well! She brought so much heart to the experience. The funniest part? The night before, we ate at their restaurant Mamma Che Pasta and were completely blown away… and we had no idea it was their local restaurant! When we showed up for the cooking class the next day, everything came full circle. Walking past the restaurant afterward felt so surreal. We genuinely felt like family (just like we did that first night, without even knowing it). Highly, highly recommend this experience! It’s delicious, memorable, and filled with warmth.

1.00It’s a shame I have to write this because my friend and I were so excited about doing a cooking class when we were visiting Italy. I am sharing the following review on behalf of my friend as the experience was completely tarnished by our host/chef Cristiano. From the drive to the house, and all through the lesson, I was inappropriately treated. From touching my body and face constantly, to making gross and sexual comments. Even grabbing my phone to add his personal Instagram to mine. It completely ruined my experience and I felt like I couldn’t relax the entire time, which was a shame because the other guests were lovely. Having this experience does not only ruin what we paid for, but also leaves a lingering emotional and mental result for me (and other women) that goes way beyond the class.

5.00Christiano did a wonderful job. He is high energy and the location where he conducts the classes has a great view. We made Gnoochi, Eggplant Parmesan, and Tiramisu. His English is very good and he speaks fast. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants a fun cooking experience.

5.00My husband and I enjoyed the excursion a great deal from the arrival through to the farewell. Fast-paced gnocchi making, and tiramisu creation. Everyone was hands on and interactive with a lively friendly competitive environment. As a family-run business owner, I appreciated the well-established experience delivery and the stunning views of Sorrento from the family farm.
