Want to explore the best of Venice with limited time on your hands? This tour combines some of the city's most Prestigeous sites in a one-day itinerary! Enjoy skip the line access into the St Marks Church, marvel the hallways of the Doges Palace and explore the city from the waterfront during your gondola ride - accompanied by one of our Gondoliers!
After some leisure time for lunch our tour embarks on an adventure to explore the world renown islands of Murano and Burano. Our guide will whisk you through the islands most charming streets on your way to witness the age-old craft of Lace making and Glass Blowing. This tour is the perfect combo of Venetian History, Local Craftmanship and Sightseeing!

Basilica di San Marco
We provide the skip the line tickets, so walk right past the long queue and go right on inside. During November through March, St. Mark’s Basilica does not offer skip the line entry because lines are generally non-existent.
Palazzo Ducale
As you explore the Doge’s Palace, you’ll hear about the wild ways of the Venetian Republic under the rule of elected magistrates. This tour not only showcases the interior of this ornate palace, but also goes in depth about the crime and legal system that was once in place in the city of Venice. Admire classic works of Venetian art and visit Doge’s Palace’s main sights, such as the Grand Staircase and the Bridge of Sighs. You'll even get to see some of the prison cells that were functional during the time of the Venetian Republic.

5.00Our day exploring Venice was nothing short of incredible and easily one of the highlights of our trip. We started the morning in the iconic St Mark’s Square, which is every bit as breathtaking as you imagine. From there, we visited the stunning Doge’s Palace and the magnificent St Mark’s Basilica, both packed with history and beauty. To top it off, we enjoyed a relaxing gondola ride through the canals, which felt like a true Venetian experience. Our morning guide, Roberta, was fantastic, knowledgeable, engaging, and made everything come alive. In the afternoon, we headed over to Murano, where we watched skilled artisans create beautiful glass pieces. The craftsmanship was amazing to see up close. We then continued to Burano, which was absolutely charming with its brightly coloured houses and lively atmosphere. Watching the traditional lace making and exploring the vibrant shops was a real highlight. The boat trip itself was smooth and enjoyable, adding to the whole experience. A special mention to our afternoon guide, Flavia, who was brilliant. She spent time with us, made us feel welcome, and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations that really enhanced our stay. Overall, this was a perfectly organised and memorable day. Great guides, beautiful locations, and a fantastic way to experience Venice beyond the usual sights. Highly recommended!

5.00A great full day experience to absorb loads of knowledge and the beautiful sights of Venice. Marco was great in the morning session with heaps of history, and Flavia was fantastic in the afternoon with superb geographical anecdotes.

5.00Our guides were FANTASTIC! Barbara and Ale were both very knowledgeable and kind. Our group was multigenerational and they were both very accommodating and patient. The stops were fantastic and we learned a lot about the culture of each place.
Full day excursion. A must if you are on a flying visit

5.00We went to the 2 islands in the morning with Gaia. She is a local Venetian and she made the trip memorable with all the facts that she spoke about. The only thing I would change is less time at the glass bowing factory and more at Burano. We had a 45 minute break between getting back to Venice and the start of the 2nd part of the tour. Anna was our guide for the Palace and the Basilica. She was an absolute fountain of knowledge and it was so Interesting as she explained the paintings and the history. Both places were incredible and worth a visit. When we got to the gondula part, we didn't have to share which was brilliant. As a flying visit to Venice this excursion ticked all the boxes and was perfect for what we wanted.

5.00It’s a bit of a long day but we enjoyed it. The boat rides help break up all of the walking portions. We traveled to a two different islands by private boat and spent time learning about glass making and lace making. In the afternoon we had a great tour of Doge as well as St Marc’s Basillica. I would recommend this tour to others

4.00Wish the tour includes exploring the island in Murano and visiting multiple factories instead of one factory. Dont even know the name but we went straight to the glass factory and left. It was more of a shopping trip rather than an exploration. 3 stars for the beautiful artworks. Could be 5 if it includes more then just the one factory
