Want to explore the best of Venice with limited time on your hands? This tour combines some of the city's most Prestigeous sites in a one-day itinerary! Enjoy skip the line access into the St Marks Church, marvel the hallways of the Doges Palace and explore the city from the waterfront during your gondola ride - accompanied by one of our Gondoliers!
After some leisure time for lunch our tour embarks on an adventure to explore the world renown islands of Murano and Burano. Our guide will whisk you through the islands most charming streets on your way to witness the age-old craft of Lace making and Glass Blowing. This tour is the perfect combo of Venetian History, Local Craftmanship and Sightseeing!

We provide the skip the line tickets, so walk right past the long queue and go right on inside. During November through March, St. Mark’s Basilica does not offer skip the line entry because lines are generally non-existent.
Doge's Palace
As you explore the Doge’s Palace, you’ll hear about the wild ways of the Venetian Republic under the rule of elected magistrates. This tour not only showcases the interior of this ornate palace, but also goes in depth about the crime and legal system that was once in place in the city of Venice. Admire classic works of Venetian art and visit Doge’s Palace’s main sights, such as the Grand Staircase and the Bridge of Sighs. You'll even get to see some of the prison cells that were functional during the time of the Venetian Republic.

2.00I struggle with this review because the rating is not all the fault of the tour guide, but they did have an opportunity to work with us on this. Our ship was late getting cleared at the port so this meant we were not going to be able to meet or tour at the designated time. I advised the tour guide and kept him apprised of where we were and expressed a desire to meet up with the group. We were running about 15 minutes behind them. The tour guy told us they were going to Murano first but we probably couldn’t catch up. While we were driving our taxi driver made arrangements to have a water taxi meet us a take us to Murano (100 euros). The water taxi asked what glass factory they were going to and despite asking this multiple times, the tour guide did not provide it. Instead, the water taxi took us to one of the factories and the owner, after hearing our story, gave us a private tour. Needless to say, we bought some glass! At that factory was another Viator group (not ours) and the owner of the factory talked to the tour operator who agreed to let us “tag along” to Burano. We did. When we finally heard from our tour guide he told us we could pick up the group at 1:15 for the afternoon at Doges Palace and gondola ride. However, our new group was not leaving Burano until 1:15 and if we left at that point, we would need to skip lunch and we would’ve guarantee we would make it back in time. We said ‘no thanks’. The guide later gave us an opportunity to take the gondola ride and we did meet up and get that. The tour guide apologized but we didn’t get all that we paid for and had to pay extra to make up for the time issue with the ship. It was a harried day and definitely tainted my view of Venice. Burano is beautiful, but I am not a fan of Venice. The gondola ride is nothing special. No one sings. They don’t even talk. Our gondolier was on his cell phone. Not to mention the waterways smelled like sewage (or low tide). St Mark’s square has t-shirt vendors everywhere and they are pushy. No desire to return. Don’t waste your money on this one. I would go just to Murano and Burano if I ever went back

5.00You have to go to the agency before accessing the gondolas. Once you get there, you'll have informations on the gondolas, they will make groupes and then let's go ! The weather was nice, so it was good to take the pictures.

5.00Loved it. Included the bridge of sighs. Plenty of time for a sit down lunch break. Worth the cost for a full day of highlights. Both tour guides were excellent.
