Mark was an outstanding guide imparting his depth of knowledge of Sydney and the blue mountains national park. We rode with a total of 6 on our tour in a comfortable new Mercedes van. The pace of the tour was perfect and Mark made the experience a 5 star. Often we find tours are a make or break by how good your guide is. Request a tour from Mark and you won’t be disappointed.

Let me start by saying—this tour felt like the perfect storm of passion meeting precision. Our guide? A walking encyclopedia with the voice of a podcast host and the timing of a stand-up comedian. Seriously, if Morgan Freeman and David Attenborough had a charismatic cousin who moonlighted as a historian, this guy would be it. The tour was punctual (a rare miracle in the world of group travel), hit all the must-see spots, and unfolded like a well-rehearsed play—only with more scenic views and fewer intermissions. The guide’s historical tales were clever, immersive, and made even better by his smooth, buttery voice that could probably convince you the grass was invented in 1842. Now, the price? Let’s just say your wallet might flinch a little—but for what it’s worth, the van was fresh off the lot, spotless, and stocked with water (bonus points for hydration!). The main stops were jaw-dropping, Instagram-worthy, and genuinely memorable. Sadly, one highlight was partially closed due to rain damage. Heartbreaking, yes—but totally out of the tour’s control. To his credit, the guide handled the mood like a champ, keeping spirits high and jokes flowing. The animal refuge stop was *chef’s kiss*—a heartwarming, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Think adorable creatures, up-close feeding, and watching little kids light up like they’d just seen Santa. Pure magic. Now for the only hiccup—and I say this with love. The tour is clearly labeled as “adventurous” and “strenuous.” Yet, somehow, half our group was eligible for senior discounts *and* naps before noon. Lovely folks, don’t get me wrong—but when one gentleman looked like he was one uphill step away from joining the spirits of the forest, we knew we had a pacing issue. The guide might have considered splitting the group or offering an alternate route, because many of us were ready to explore beyond the geriatric stroll. So, here's the bottom line: If you love small group vibes, fantastic guides, clean comfy transport, and don’t mind rolling with a few unexpected punches (and pace adjustments), this tour’s a solid win. Just make sure your fellow adventurers are up for the same level of “adventure” you are. Thanks for the memories

We LOVED this tour! It was so interesting and beautiful! We got to experience so much in one day! The visit to the animal park was delightful and the koalas and other animals were a sight to see! We saw a crocodile, wombat, dingos and kangaroos! We ventured on to the blue mountains and enjoyed the commentary by our awesome tour guide Mark and the magnificent hike. Be sure to wear close-toed shoes! What a great day!

Mark was a very kind and knowledgable guide. Even with rainy weather and limited views, he made for a very fun experience! He taught us so much about both the nature surrounding us as well as the history of the country and sites we visited.
