You don’t need to pick the perfect trail - we’ll do that for you. This guided Table Mountain hike is designed around the day’s weather, visibility, and your energy levels to make sure you enjoy the mountain safely and at your own pace. Led by Marié, a qualified local mountain guide and lifelong hiker, each experience combines nature, culture, and connection - with plenty of laughter (and coffee) along the way. We hike slowly enough to see and smell the mountain. Fresh coffee, fynbos stories, and local snacks along the way turn it into more than a climb - it’s a morning on the mountain with friends.

5.00A fantastic experience from the very first email exchange. Marie provided in depth and friendly responses, thoroughly answering all my questions. She arrived on time (a few minutes early!) the morning of our hike and brought extra packs/water for our family of five. Marie allowed us to hike at our own pace and provided words of encouragement and interesting facts about local flora and fauna during the ascent. DO NOT miss the delicious breakfast (both the egg sandwich and pancake options felt like we were eating at a gourmet cafe instead of mountain side with incredible views). Marie was quick to suggest alternate options as the heat/sun were more intensive than originally anticipated. She led us down Woody's Ravine, which offered a shady respite, while still boasting gorgeous views. The kids all voted this descent was their favorite part :) I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Otto, the hiking dog, who always came to check on the slowest hiker (me). Marie made us feel safe, supported, and brave on this unforgettable family adventure. I would wholeheartedly recommed Klipspring Hikes!

5.00As two octogenarian couples, we were worried that a Table Mountain hike would not be for us. With Klipspring it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Not having to walk too far and enjoying a delicious picnic on the mountain made it a perfect trip. Many thanks to Marie and her team.

5.00Marie is a great guide, with interesting knowledge to share on the beautiful Kasteelspoort hike we did. She’s accompanied by her funny dog and she made us coffee on a rock halfway up Table mountain. Awesome and exhilarating hike at a pleasant and feasible pace.

5.00An early Friday morning excursion up Table Mountain was the ideal ending to our trip. A smooth cable car journey delivered us to the top - where we were speechless at the views of the ocean and city below. Marie began with a thorough safety briefing and promise of egg sandwiches (two very important components to the morning.) We did a loop to Maclear's Beacon (the HIGHEST point on the mountain!) A gorgeous hike with very accessible paths and breathtaking views. Each section had its own character in plant diversity which Marie described to us in detail. Super interesting to be able to delve into the vegetation and history of the ecosystem. Freshly brewed coffee and sandwiches on at the beacon were such a treat, with extra local snacks such as koeksisters and rusks. Super thoughtful and delicious addition to the morning. Honestly the best coffee spot in Cape Town. We absolutely LOVED our experience and would highly recommend Marie as a guide, for Table Mountain and beyond. We will definitely be back.

Our guide Marie was very knowledgeable, giving us great context for our walk and taking us on a wonderful loop. We saw breathtaking views on all sides of the mountain and had wonderful snacks! 5.00Marie van Klipspring is a great guide. Enthusiastic, friendly, and knows a lot about the area. She told us about the mountains and the vegetation. And together with us she chose which hiking trail we would take. She even made fresh cappuccino for us up in the mountain. It was wonderful and thanks a lot Marie!
