  This excursion was one of the best we have ever taken, and we have traveled extensively. Book as far in advance as possible to ensure that Tom is available on your requested date. His trips are personalized, and you can tell that he enjoys showing his guests the best of Provence. I would not hesitate to use him again when I am in Provence!!!

  From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, which was far from him, we were greeted with smiles and lively conversation. We knew everything about everything-the best places to grab an epic picture, restaurant recommendations for us at our future destinations in Provence-going so far as to drop us pins so we would know exactly where to find the best spots. We did Roussillion and its fabulous market, and Gordes with all its beauty. Of course the Abbey with all the lavender too. On the way back to the hotel, he found us a beautiful field of sunflowers to take pictures in. A Provincial dream come true! You won’t be disappointed! Tom knows it all & MORE!

  I wish I could give this tour 10 stars! If you are looking for a personalized, unique experience in the South of France- this is it!! Tom was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating. My mother and I knew we wanted a more personalized tour as she has slight mobility issues; I expressed this to Tom as well as our desire to see the Luberon and Gordes area. Tom customized a full days trip for us and even added stops on the fly as the day evolved (several times he would accommodate our requests to stop for pictures or he saw sunflower and lavender fields and knew we had wanted to see those even though lavender had been cut he still found a field for us and took photos, explained the process, and made sure we had time to see it all)! Tom drove us through some of the picturesque towns along the way and made sure we had plenty of time (30 mins to 1.5 hours) in different areas to stop for lunch, take pictures, see the monastery, enjoy a glass of local wine and olives (that he had brought and surprised us with) at the Gordes overlook (he knew all the best places for photos where it wasn’t crowded), and overall enjoy our day without feeling overwhelmed. Tom listens to exactly what you want and goes to the extreme to deliver and is one of the funniest, most personable and gracious guides I’ve ever been fortunate enough to tour with. His van was very spacious and had plenty of room for 5-6 adults. I cannot recommend Tom with Happy Day in Provence enough. This will be a tour you’ll always remember!

  Tomasz is a fantastic tour guide. He is relaxed, personable, thoughtful and knowledgeable. His communication was clear and helpful before, during, and after our tour. His vehicle is comfortable. He is gracious and flexible and provided the day trip we most wanted. I am most impressed with his attention to experience details. A few of these details included a restaurant he chose for lunch (gorgeous views, one that tourists would never find, and most importantly delicious), an impromptu game and wonderful snacks he treated us to along the way, and a very personalized time at a vineyard. This was the most memorable tour we took during our trip. Thank you Tomasz! We will call you again when we return to France.

  Excellent Guide who had great knowledge of the region. Happy day in Provence provides excellent tours and guides and would highly recommend to anyone looking to book day trips from Aix-in-Provence. The guide was sweet enough to even check the weather forecast for us and then recommend the day trips that would be best in terms of the weather (as it was rainy and windy when we visited).

  if you are still wondering, there is no point! It is the best thing you can do for yourself. I recommend it! Tom will plan your time as you dream and his openness will make you feel as if you have known each other forever ;)

  Tomaz was an amazing guide for the day. He curated four perfect spots for us within the timeframe we had. Which included a wine tasting, and a game of Pétanque which is lawn game that originated in Provence! He even included a little picnic during the game with wine and snacks. It was such a great day seeing outside of our cruise port. I would definitely recommend letting Tomaz plan your day trip in Provence :)
