  We didn't go in the end, far too expensive to see a green glow! It is a pity as I am sure it could have been a good trip. We decided to spend our money elsewhere.

  Originally booked for a 9am tour which was cancelled by the operator. We then rebooked for the same day at 8.15pm which was also cancelled one hour before we were due to leave due to weather. We then requested for a refund and was told by the operator that this may not happen due to booking through TripAdvisor and their cancellation policy may not allow this. We were told we should have booked directly through the tour company. They advised they will process the cancellation on their end but would need to follow up with TripAdvisor regarding the referral. We are still waiting on a response but this is absolutely appalling considering we were not the ones that cancelled BOTH TIMES

  The caves themselves were magnificent but if your main reason for going is the Gloworms I would not bother as they were mediocre. We had a far better, and free, experience on the Minniehaha trail at Fox Glacier.

  This trip was like stepping into another world! The glow worms were beautiful, the guides were knowledgeable and the small walk to the glow worms was through a cave system with an incredible river!

  Good experience of glow worms and caves - information did feel a little scripted while in the caves but the boat part was pretty cool in pitch black with just the glow worms. Make sure you take a waterproof layer and insect repellant for the pesky sandflies.

  Awesome experience.very well explained. The boat over to the caves was also good. Would recommend the experience
