5.00Our thanks to Stephan for organizing our food tour around Lunar New Year. You engaged the history of the people, the religions, and foods along each of our stops. We visited street market stalls, hawker centers in Little India, and a vibrant, bustling Chinatown readying for the New Year. The use of the MRT was easy with your guidance. We recommend this tour for a ‘taste’ of Singapore!

3.00This tour involves a tremendous amount of walking. Rather than a tasting tour, it is a history tour of the three sections of the city in Singapore. William, our guide was excellent in his historical presentations however, we walked from one section into another and then had to take a subway, at our own expense, to Chinatown. Although we did taste food from the different sections, I would not recommend this tour for senior adults. Additionally, we had to meet downtown and get our own transportation back to our hotel.

5.00We took the Singapore food tour with JonXu, and we highly recommend him! He is knowledgeable, engaging, and very prepared and efficient. This tour is the best way to get to know Singapore, in my opinion. JonXu took us to the Malay, Indian, and Chinese districts for a very generous amount of food tastings (we lost track how many) and a great overview of the history and daily life.

5.00We had a fantastic time on this tour. Jack was friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to show us the food highlights plus more throughout the tour. He is energetic and enthusiastic about making sure we enjoyed the entire tour while demonstrating the diversity of food in each of the 3 neighbourhoods we visited. Definitely would book the tour again next time in Singapore!

5.00We had a fabulous food tour with Royston. He took us around the three districts to sample a huge variety of food and drink, while taking into account our dietry requirements. We would not have known where to start on our own and would have felt quite intimidated so it was fantastic to go around with Royston who had so much local knowledge. It was so much more than just a food tour as we learnt so much about the different areas. He also took time to advise us on attractions for the remainder of our holiday. We would highly recommend this trip, thank you Royston!

4.00We enjoyed our time spent with Ron. We spent 2 hours and 20 minutes of a 3 hour tour on the beginning part of our tour in the Maylay part of town (also called “Arabic Town”). This part was excellent, and the excessive (?) time spent could be because we asked too many questions. Because of that our time in India Town was extremely short. Ron redeemed himself in. Chinatown where he stayed well past the tour end time. Overall we enjoyed the tour.
