  For first time visitors to Singapore, my friends and I enjoyed this experience. Our guide (I forget his name) is excellent! This was truly private, and he took note of food allergies and directed us to safe foods. The tour included history and culture, he answered our questions, and was engaging.   My family and I recently went on “The Award-Winning Private Food Tour: 10 Tastings of 3 Cultures,” and I have to say our guide Marcus made it unforgettable! From start to finish, he was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. Marcus didn’t just show us the food — he shared the stories, traditions, and cultural connections behind every tasting. His passion for local cuisine was contagious, and he answered every question with enthusiasm. You could tell he truly loves what he does! What stood out most was how he customized the experience to our pace and preferences. Whether it was finding the perfect bite, helping with dietary needs, or sharing hidden gems we’d never find on our own, Marcus made us feel like VIP guests the entire time. Each tasting represented a different culture, and every stop felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen. From savory street snacks to mouthwatering desserts, we got a genuine taste of the city’s culinary diversity. If you’re considering this tour, do ask for Marcus! He truly elevated the experience and turned a great tour into an outstanding one. Highly recommended!

  Stefan was very knowledgeable about Singapore history and was able to customize our tour on the fly based on my preferences. We tried foods we wouldn’t have tasted otherwise.

  We had a great time on our food tour with Stefan. He gave us some of the history of each section we visited. I really appreciated that he was able to customize the tour based on what I said I liked. It was a lot of food but, you do some walking in between tastings. He gave us suggestions on things to do in the evening as well. Highly recommend taking this tour.

  We were very interested in the culture and food experience found in Singapore, but we were more than delighted with the added history lesson Marcus provided for us as we ate our way through the Chinese, Indian and Arab districts of Singapore. Go beyond the usual tourist spots and enjoy interesting aspects of the city as well as the culture and food.

  Michelin star dishes in a food court. Amazing! Marcus was an informative and considerate guide accommodating my personal needs. Found gluten free options. When my feet hurt he found me a seat and brought selections to me. He even added a MRT subway tutorial. Excellent guide.

  We spent a very enjoyable three hour tour with expert guide Marcus, and learnt so much, not just about Singaporean cuisine but also the notable buildings, history and culture of the island. Marcus was very knowledgeable, and as a former chef, knew the best hawker stalls to take us to - which we would probably not have eaten at without him. He pays particular attention to safety and hygiene, providing hand wipes, cleaning table surfaces before we sat down, and explaining the different hygiene ratings that restaurants and hawker stalls get. We sampled a very interesting variety of southern Indian, Chinese and Malay foods with drinks such as sugar cane juice, fresh coconut water and mango lassi. We also saw - and smelt - lots of durians! I’d really recommend this tour if you want to sample street food with confidence. Marcus was very entertaining, with lots of amusing anecdotes, and encouraged us to ask questions about past and present Singapore society and culture. The walking distance is manageable in the heat as he adapts the pace to suit and includes a couple of metro rides. Thank you Marcus for a great evening!

  Marcus our Best food tour guide For this tour was best arrangements Marcus make his afford to pick us up At our hotel we stay he is very helpful And Mr nice guide who's given my family Many choices of food and drinks during tour he even getting my family each and ice cream and fruit he also very informative in Singapore subway history of different district like the Indian,and Chinese area? all subway ticket is provided By him remember if you choose this tour must come with empty stomach because For sure you don't have to eat your dinner after joining this tour but remember to look for Marcus for sure No regrets
