The Deathly Dark Tour of York is a grim and theatrical, dark comedy walking tour, perfect for those who have a bit of a wicked streak and are looking to explore the dark and spooky history of the city with one of our guides, famous for their wonderfully dark sense of humour.
Please note, this is NOT a scare attraction, it is a storytelling experience.
The tour is family friendly, but some may find the stories frightening. Children must remain with their parent/guardian at all times.
Tour group size is 20-50 people, although this will change depending on the season. Private and small group tours are available on request.

1.00We booked this tour a couple of months in advance for a special birthday to then be told 2 days in advance that it wouldn’t run and offering us the next day which we’d already booked things for. It was just before Christmas so few other choices. It was incredibly disappointing

5.00Wife and my daughter went last night, Dalton was an excellent witty guide who brought all the stories to life with verve and energy. Thoroughly recommended but wrap up warm cos it gets really cold!!!

5.00This was a fun and interesting tour. Dafydd was brilliant, he provided humour and factual info. Both my friend and I generally felt we learned alot about a city we have visited many times.
