Join us on a walk through the busy and cosmopolitan streets of Thessalonikis’ city center and visit 3 unique local wine bars, each with its own history and personal style. We do not just try wine, we are informed about each variety, and the ways it is made. Get ready to be amazed by the long and fascinating history of Greek wine, which is considered to be one of the best in the world! We try 6 different varieties of Greek wine all of them grown and produced in Greece by local vintners, each of them chosen for its distinct taste and origin. 6 glasses (75ml) of wine per person! We will taste local varieties of White, Red and Rosé wines, such as Xinomavro, Mavrotragano, Vidiano and Asyrtiko! Meze (Greek appetizers) chosen to ideally accompany each wine is served at each wine bar (rusks or salty sticks, cheese, olives, tomato). Reserved table on all venues! An experienced, educated & friendly facilitator will be accompanying you to assist you with anything you might need!

5.00The best thing to do in Thessaloniki! All 3 Wine Bars were amazing and the wines just WOW. I could never imagine that Greece produces wine of that quality! The guide was also really really friendly and fun. Overall, 10/10!!

5.00Excellent wine bar tour. Our guide took us to three wine bars that we never would have even thought of going to. Enjoyed walking the city with her and learning about a very cool Greek City. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

4.00Our guide, Thomas, was wonderful. He was very nice and accommodating. My mother was having difficulty keeping up with all the walking so he suggested the underground/metro to lessen the walking. The tour involved more walking than we anticipated. The server at our first stop gave us lots of information and even invited us to see the wine cellar. The second stop was a bit more formal. Our server provided information about the differences in the 2 wines we tried as well as information about the food. (The food was wonderful). Our third stop was Franky’s. This was a nice place but our server only spoke to our guide and the male tourist in our group. He did not speak to my mother or me and we did not get much information about the wine we tried. Overall, this was a nice tour. Good wine and good food. Thomas provided information about the areas we walked through. This is definitely a tour I’d recommend.

5.00Dina and Celia made our wine tasting a memorable event. We felt like we had made friends by the end of the evening while tasting great wines and appetizers. I recommend this to anyone wanting to sample the local wines and small plate appetizers…and make friends!
