This walking tour explores the highlights of the magical Tasman Peninsula over three fantastic days of walking and sightseeing. This itinerary is a slightly abridged version of our four day summer tour, and incorporates some of Tasmania's most spectacular scenery. Enjoy towering clifftops, marvel at amazing rock formations, and explore the spectacular Tasman Peninsula. This is a moderate to hard walk with rocky surfaces, steps and climbs to navigate so come prepared with your favourite walking shoes and poles.

Maingon Lookout
This section of the Three Capes Trail offers westerley views back towards Cape Raoul. The track then opens into a gaping cavity known as Maingon Blowhole.
Mount Brown and Crescent Bay Walking Track
Crescent Bay beach is incredibly beautiful and sparsely populated.
Cape Raoul - 14 km trail, approximately 6 hours of walking (including breaks)

Breakfast is a continental spread of cereals, stewed fruit, yoghurt, toast and spreads and with coffee and teas.

Pre-dinner nibbles and antipasto followed by a casual two-course meal prepared by your guides
Cape Raoul
Offering some of the most spectacular coastal outlooks in Tasmania, Cape Raoul is an excellent return day walk within the Tasman National Park. With only a few steep sections, this is a comfortable walk allowing ample time to relax and enjoy the expansive views of the surrounding Tasman Peninsula and further south to Bruny Island.
Fortescue Bay to Cape Hauy - 8 km trail, approximately 5 hours of walking (including breaks)

Cape Hauy
The day's walk starts at a beautiful cove and there are some steep sections with stairs. At the top of the first climb there is a saddle providing extensive and panoramic views to the far north along the Forester coast to Maria Island and south, detailing the ridges of Cape Pillar. Towards the end the track follows the cliffs edge, providing spectacular views. The final segment of the trail takes us to a large plateau, where there are clear views of exceptional rock formations of the Candlestick and Totem Pole, large columns of dolerite rocking out to the ocean.

5.00We recently enjoyed Auswalks Three Capes, Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur adventure. All of our transporters to and from each walk as well as to and from Port Arthur (Jillian, Theresa & Phillip, Carmel) were excellent. Our walks were pack free since we were staying at Stewart's Bay Lodge which was included in our walk. The meals and restaurant service was very good ~ we especially appreciate the servers whose smiles warmed us up on chilly mornings and evenings. The navigation app was very helpful as we navigated the amazing Tasman Peninsula. The landscape was stunning and the views were outstanding. We chose the opportunity to take the Wilderness Cruise to Cape Pillar, a 3 hour cruise with views of the stunning coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck. We also spent time visiting Port Arthur Historic penal colony. Auswalk team was professional and thorough. We highly recommend Auswalk for any walking holiday.

5.00I highly recommend this tour. It is great value for all it includes. I am in my early 70's and am of medium fitness so the 3rd day of walking was very tough. Just saying. However the others in my group seemed to manage better than I. The guides were very professional, highly responsible and capable. They were fun, enthusiastic and informative without being over bearing. The atmosphere they facilitated with the group of 10, was convivial and supportive. The food they prepared was delicious, healthy and real and included chocolate on the walks (haha)

5.00I have done the Bay of Fires, Bruny Island and Three Capes hikes with Park Trek. Each time I travelled with a group of friends. The accommodation was comfortable, good food and plenty of it and all of the guides have been friendly and very informative. I highly recommend them
