Great experience with the nice lady who took us to the Sumo. We saw 19 bouts as promised which I was surprised about.

The experience starts in a restaurant where you have lunch. This was really nice! Tuna sashimi, udon noodles, salad, fried chicken and a hotpot which you cook yourself. If you want drinks, you have to purchase these, but the food is included in the price. The hosts will then discuss Sumo with you and what will happen, where you will go, the rules, and ask for questions. The hosts were lovely, spoke English really well and the whole tour was really well organised by them. The seats are on the second level looking down on the arena, we had a great view and saw 2 sets of matches. The hosts were constantly attentive, answering all questions. I thorough enjoyed myself! And would absolutely love to do this again!

It was a great experience and well worth the money. Yuko was extremely knowledgeable about the history and background knowledge of the wrestlers. Her commentary made the experience so much more enjoyable!

The sumo wrestling was fun to watch and our guide Seiji made the tour really interesting. Great knowledge and even did a match sheet so we could follow who was on and how they ranked. Thoroughly recommend.
