  Rael was the best guide we had during our entire trip to Costa Rica. We have both worked as biologists for wildlife so we were very interested in seeing some new species on the last leg of our trip. Rael delivered. We were able to see 7 sloths, many different spiders, and 3 new snakes we had not seen in Costa Rica before, one of which i never thought i would get to see in the wild. He called to some frogs and was able to find them that way, and overall just had an incredible eye for spotting things in the heavy and dense brush. He was very knowledgeable and we packed a lot of species into the two hour tour. I highly recommend booking your tours through this program as they are not only affordable but very worth your time and money.

  Great hotel where the rooms and bathroom are fine and the kitchen allows you to make a little something to eat quietly. The Israel guide who works for the hotel is really great and showed us a lot of things and animals on the canoe tour and night tour. Thank you very much!

• Lovely experience

  Abel was such a lovely guy. He had loads of information and was very dedicated on our journey. We were lucky to be the only 2 people on the tour so it kind of was a private tour. You could’ve asked him anything. We even went on a dark adventure through the jungle! Where we saw toucans, banana spiders and a sloth with her child on the belly.

  The tours were both great. We first did the turtle nesting experience and it was incredible. We were lucky enough to see the whole three stages of the process and it was memorable. The guide Israel was very careful at all times, explaining us the process the turtles go through and how important it is to respect every stage without interrupting them. The next day we went on the canoe trip and had the chance to spot a great number of birds, caimans and other animals. Israel shared so much information that made the trip a great learning and enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend!

  We enjoyed both tours. Turtles were wonderful, we saw almost all phases in giving birth process. For night tour wear something dark and closed shoes. Because of Tortuguero humidity dont forget raincoat :-) The morning canoe tour was nice, everywhere quiet and just pure nature and animals. Guides are real experts, thanks to them is your tour experience even better. Tortuguero is really worth to visit,because it is something different than other national parks.
