Parque Tricao

The Park has an extension of more than 120 hectares, where you will be able to appreciate the rescue of the native forest typical of the coastal ravines of the central zone of Chile and the imposing block that molds the bottom of the ravines, tracing the silhouette of the park, where you can admire the recovery of wetlands and original fauna of the area. In this privileged environment, various sectors and places have been designed to live recreational, sports and cultural experiences specially designed for our visitors. Spectacular viewpoints, the largest aviary in South America with exotic species integrated in a controlled environment, a replica of the Giverny gardens in France that transports Monet's vision when he painted his most famous works, a white sand beach and circuits of Trekking and cross country are just some of the experiences we want you to enjoy. Then we will visit the potter town of Pomaire to tour its streets with crafts and typical Chilean food

Beautiful nature walk and enjoyed the birds, plants and village tour. A neat Chilean lunch experience. Ignacio was very good providing background information in the area.
Must see in chile.

Fun full day of beautiful birds, plants, hikes. Ignacio was a great tour guide. The pottery was amazing. Tried several authentic lunch items. Highly recommend. Thanks for the great tour.

This day tour was a great experience! The tour of the bird aviary was very well done and the garden/ponds were beautiful. The home of Poet Neruda included many interesting collections and the audio tour was worthwhile. I especially appreciated the tour guides Fernanda and Matteo who were very accommodating and helpful. Laidy and Ignacio of the Tricao were also very helpful. Our lunch was delicious and the service was slow, which I understand will be addressed for future tours.
Go, but bring some sandwiches and water. Beware of your garbage!!!

Distant dd Santiago, but with good muitp straffes take us to this interesting park. Definitely a kniter day trip but... we only found a kiosk selling sandwiches, although the park has a restaurant. We did not know the operating days. The bathrooms are clean, but they could be larger, more numerous and more distributed throughout the park. The highlight is the aviary, but there are no chilean fauna birds for legal/ecological reasons. Beautiful and numerous exotic birds, of various species, flying freely among the trees. A glimpse...!
