Our Concept: To discover and eat our way through the winding cobbled stone streets of Bordeaux. To drink incredible local wine (of course) and to learn some of the city’s history along the way. All this with your friendly local guide, who will show you the city through her eyes.
On this Bordeaux Food Tour, you can expect:

- Tours are run with an english-speaking guide

- Tour ends in a local wine cellar with a generous food and wine tasting

- 7 stops. All food and wine included
- Vegetarians friendly. Due to the nature of the French cuisine, this tour is not suitable for vegans.

Place Pey-Berland
Pey Berland is a historic square located in the very heart of Bordeaux. Named after the Pey Berland Tower, this lively square offers a mix of architectural beauty, cultural significance, and vibrant energy. On this square, we will talk about the bell tower, the Saint Andre Cathedral and the famous weddings that took place here. Here, closeby to the cathedral we will try the best cannelés in town

Saint-André Cathedral, an architectural m masterpiece and found right in the center of Bordeaux. Not only does it stand as as a beacon of faith but also holds significance along the historic Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. Moreover, it is also where some of the middle ages' most iconic weddings took place.

5.00Alexandre gave me a tour that literally awakened all of my senses. A great way to start my time in Bordeaux! And the odds were stacked against us with cold and rain but she made it full of history, insight, amazing tastes and sights and totally worth being out in the winter elements. Can't wait to bring my whole family back!

5.00Even though I’ve been living in Bordeaux for quite a while, this food tour was absolutely worth it. Thanks to Alexandra, I tasted and learned so many new things. Even if you think you don’t like canelé, she’ll find the one that makes you want to try again. From the iconic Dunes Blanches and honey from Malescot to wonderful cheeses and wines, everything was exceptional. Alexandra herself is a wonderful person—thoughtful, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about Bordeaux’s history, food, and wine.

5.00Alexandra was a fantastic tour guide - engaging, attentive, knowledgeable, and entertaining. She led us on a tour that was both educational, with lots of local history and anecdotes, and tasty, including a sampling of some of the rich local food and wine scene. Easy, relaxed pace - enjoyed it!

5.00Alexandra and her husband were absolutely fantastic hosts. They took us to a wonderful variety of local shops around Bordeaux’s city centre, where we had the chance to taste an excellent range of regional foods. Beyond the food itself, we also learned a great deal about Bordeaux’s history and culinary culture, which made the experience even more meaningful. The highlight of the tour was the evening dinner, where we enjoyed wine paired with a selection of cheeses and beautifully prepared cured meats. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bordeaux.
