My wife and I spent a few days in Florence and pre booked 4 guided trips. The Uffizi Gallery was the most expensive and lowest quality. The guide was very nice but spoke too quickly for the the audio system that was OK, but not great. Her English was ok, but not great. We spent two hours looking at the artwork and a lot of the descriptions were trivial and un interesting. There was little or no real structure to help understand where and how the collection came about. We already knew about the Medici family and the structure and duration of the Renaissance, but we got very little of this from our guide on this tour - overall OK but a bit disappointing as two hours dragged a little due to the comms issues described

Martina was a wonderful guide. She was charming and very knowledgeable about the museum and artwork. She was also very easy to understand as she shared her insights about the Accademia. Tour hit all the right notes, but also left time to explore on your own at the end. Highly recommended.

Glad we did the skip the line tour. Was still a wait however was way less than the general admission line. Tour was very informative and guide was knowledgeable about the artists and their works. Was a very good value and quite enjoyable.

A professional guide is a must in order to see all the highlights. We learned some art history and really had a greater appreciation of the paintings and architecture than we would had if we'd toured on our own. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Skipping the line was fantastic 👏 👌
