5.00This whale watching cruise with Newport coastal adventure and their duo Mark and Erika was just the most magical. Not only was the weather perfect, but we were lucky to spot 3 humpback whales and cruised with a megapod of dolphins (our captain estimated the pod to be 2000 dolphins, so it was as far as the eye can see) and as the sun was setting we also saw sealions resting on a buoy. Truly wonderful experience

5.00I had a beautiful day aboard the Pelican! We saw about a thousand dolphin all around us! Captain Erica and Mark did an excellent job at finding a great white shark as well as a humpback whale! I have been out with Newport Coastal Adventure almost a dozen times now and they always seem to find at least one whale for us! Erica and Mark gave us lots of information on all the wildlife we saw. And it’s always great when Mark is able to get these awesome drone photos of the whales. If you are ever in Newport Beach, you should book a trip with NCA! You will not be disappointed!

5.00This was an amazing trip! Erica and Molly were fabulous when they were explaining everything about the ocean animals that we were seeing and the trip details. This boat/excursion was perfect for individuals who want to get to the ocean quickly to explore. We had the privilege of seeing humpback whales and dolphins; awesome experience.

5.00We had an amazing time with our guided private whale watching trip yesterday. Within 2hours, we saw hundreds of dolphins and at least 4 humpback whales. Our tour guide was amazing. Thanks so much!!

5.00Mark was incredible. My wife had an unpleasant experience on a tour a few years ago and has avoided such tours ever since. However our twin granddaughters wanted to do this tour so she met with Mark prior to the departure and he listened carefully to her issues , made a couple of suggestions and assured her she would be very comfortable on this cruise. He was correct! We had a wonderful time, saw a minke whale and probably 400 dolphins. Captain Erica was a delight, Mark’s drone photos were terrific and the granddaughters had a wonderful time as well 100% complete success. Thank you Mark!!!

5.00Amazing Experience!! Erica & Mark were amazing, we saw 2 Blue whales and loads of dolphins! Mark was giving us loads of info about the whales and made the whole experience really enjoyable! We came with our kids from London and it was the highlight of our trip! Thanks so much 🐋

5.00Delaney and Erica were excellent. They did their best to find animals even on a foggy morning. We saw a large pod of common dolphins and saw one humpback whale. Really enjoyed the small group cruise instead of large boat. Overall a great experience. Follow their advice to wear warm clothing.

5.00Dale and Alex were awesome!. This was a great experience. Our kids had a blast. Well worth it!! We saw two gray whales, lots of dolphins and had a great trip.
You won't regret booking this tour!

5.00Captain Taylor and Guide Dale were so informative and just as enthusiastic as we were about finding wildlife. I'm a SoCal native and have gone whale watching several times but this was by far the best one! The boat is small and speedy and can easily stop and go, making it the most efficient boat out there. We were able to see rare Risso dolphins, a Fin whale, and hundreds of dolphins. Seeing dolphins isn't that big of a deal around here but seeing HUNDREDS of them was a magnificent sight. I'm so glad I booked this tour for my cousin who was visiting from Japan. Highly recommended and won't disappoint. Thanks again to Captain Taylor and Dave!!
