Disappointing tour!

2.00Jane was a great tour guide. She was very patient with all the guests and explained things well. She was kind and even offered to take pictures of the guests. The stops were nice. The mini-van was very uncomfortable. The AC was not working well. At times the driver would have the AC off and the windows rolled down. We were sweating. I mentioned it to the guide at a stop and she talked to the driver. He put the AC on but it was not working properly. The guide even looked hot and miserable. The passenger in front of me stated he felt sick due to the heat. Passengers in the back were miserable. Our last stop was to include rum tasting at the beach. We asked and she said the person who packed the cooler forgot to put the rum in. She ended up calling the supervisor and told us she was going to come and give us each a small bottle of liquor. This didn’t happen at the beach. All the passengers agreed they were expecting rum tasting and it was in the description of the tour. Thank goodness there were two tables in the shade for us to sit at. This beach had no other facilities. It was time to leave the beach, Jane told us the person bringing us our small bottle of liquor will meet us at the drop off location. We had a hot ride back to the cruise ship and Jane told us to wait in the van and she will go get our little bottles of liquor. We had enough of being in the hot van and exited the van. We tipped Jane and went back to our ship. I contacted Viator and asked for a partial refund. (Not 50% like they requested from the tour company) We were denied a partial refund. I just wanted to be compensated for what was missed in the tour. We were really looking forward to the rum tasting at the beach. Tour description states “transport by air-conditioned mini-van or small bus” and “beach stop with rum tasting”. I will be back in Martinique in a few days and wanted to do the South Island tour with this company but now I want nothing to do with them.

3.00We didn’t feel that this tour was worth the money. Beware that if you sit anywhere near the back of the bus you will not be able to hear the tour guide. Between a lousy microphone system and the noise of the air conditioner you could not hear what she was saying. The best stop was the beach where we were given 45 minutes to swim in the beautiful warm water also treated to a drink of the local rum and some cake

5.00We had a perfect day! Leslie went out of her way to put us in a private van out of my concern for accessibility. It was a welcome and MUCH APPRECIATED surprise!!! Manuel was an AMAZING TOUR guide. We had an absolutely perfect day in Martinique seeing the Sacre Coeur church, the beautiful rain forest with a stop at a river, the delicious rum at DePaux, seeing a film showing all of the Pitons in Martinique, Saint Pierre, the incredible stop at the sandy beach with yummy cake and a refreshing local beverage. Manuel's energy, curiosity and love of teaching shined through as he shared with us so much about Martinique. He was especially attentive to my elderly parents. We appreciated his thoughtfulness. A highlight of our cruise and HIGHLY recommend!

5.00The tour to the north of Martinique was amazing! The island's landscapes are stunning, from lush rainforests to breathtaking coastlines. The guides were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. This excursion is absolutely worth it—highly recommended!

3.00No problem meeting guide at the port as she held a sign with passengers names. Our tour had 19 adults, not max 18 as stated. Knowledgeable guide to visit beautiful places stated in the itinerary except rum Distillery. Somehow it was removed after we signed up the tour. No rum tasting on beach, guide said company didn't rum to her :( Overall it was good tour to visit Martinique for the first time
