Po Nagar Cham Towers
Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and who in Vietnamese is called Thiên Y Thánh Mẫu. The Po Nagar complex is situated on Cù Lao Mountain. It consists of three levels, the highest of which encompasses two rows of towers. The main tower is about 25 m high. The temple's central image is a 1.2m tall stone statue of the goddess Yan Po Nagar sitting cross-legged, dressed only in a skirt, with ten hands holding various symbolic items. According to Vietnamese scholar Ngô Vǎn Doanh, these attributes show that Yan Po Nagar was identified also with the Hindu goddess Mahishasuramardini or Durga, the slayer of the buffalo-demon. Dam Market
Dam market is regarded as the most famous market in the coastal city of Nha Trang because of its beautiful architecture and uniqueness. It sells diverse goods from various areas along the southern coast such as fresh seafood, dried food, souvenirs, clothing, and footwear. Let's go to Cho Dam market Nha Trang right now if you want to buy any specialties from the South Coast area. Dam market was officially opened after being planned and built, and it quickly became one of Nha Trang's largest markets, with a 5270 square meter floor surface and a capacity of up to 3000 people. This market has a new one-of-a-kind architecture. The round shape of Dam market draws visitors' attention from afar. The roof of this market is said to resemble the undulating waves of the sea. Others say it resembles the pistil of a lotus blooming in the middle of the swamps, with the lotus petals pointing out as the city's various streets.

5.00Long (my guide) was very accomodating, kind and very knowledgable on the history of Nha Trang. As importantly, he knew the best local foods that we tried. In addtion, he even assisted me with purchasing a SIM card and recommended an excellent barber. Highly recommend!!

5.00Fabulous tour with our young guide Khiem. We told Khiem our limits and he was able to give us a memorable day. He is a very personable and well mannered young man who spoke excellent English. As it was quite hot we were able to see all the sites and remain mostly comfortable. We were given so much information about the things we were seeing along with history. We wanted simple street food for lunch and we stopped at a roadside place for the best banh mi sandwiches we've ever had. We went to a park overlooking the water with a nice breeze to enjoy our lunch. The only place we could have left off the itinerary was the aquarium which is renovating and not a lot to see. We highly recommend Khiem if you are looking for the best tour ever! Most of the stops are doable for older people with a few revisions. Allow yourself plenty of resting if it's hot, keep up fluids and bring a fan.

5.00I’m so glad I chose the VIP tour option. It created a much more personal and intimate experience, unlike a large group tour that could have felt overcrowded. I had an outstanding guide who allowed us to move at our own pace. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided detailed explanations about the history of Nha Trang and Vietnam as a whole. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00WE had a terrific day with Long. He took us to some interesting & beautiful places in Nha Trang. Long is very personable & easy to talk with. He is aware of energy level & physical ability. He is tuned in to time to eat or snack! Be sure to dress comfortable. Wear suncreen.

5.00We went on the city tour with Sa as our guide , she was brilliant from start to finish ! we were picked up from our hotel and visited the Chan temple , national oceanographic museum, Dam market , long son pagoda . Sa was friendly and informative the perfect guide and knew the routes to avoid some of the traffic . We had a traditional vietnamese lunch in one of the local restaurants which was great . Highly recommend Sa and the driver. Thank you for a great trip

3.00A score of three only because we were unable to do the tour due to our ship delayed into port. The the tour operator was excellent with communication, and AND indicated that it would be impossible for us to do the tour and return to the ship. The operator indicated he would see that we were refunded our payment because it was not a cancellation caused by us. We have yet to see the credit which is the only reason I did not score higher. The port in Nha Trang closed for repairs and we had to put in at Cam Ranh. We were prepared to take a taxi to get to the pick up spot, but this was impossible. I thought Oceana Cruises primarily for the problem since we were late leaving Saigon.
