5.00We had a great time. Unfortunately rain and clouds kept us from being able to fly over the volcano, which was very disappointing, but Captain Jim gave us a nice tour of the Hilo area and we saw beautiful and interesting sites. Very smooth ride and friendly ground crew.

5.00Drew the pilot and the staff at Safari are excellent. It was a cloudy day so we couldn’t see the eruptions. However they made sure we had an excellent view of the waterfalls, and less active volcano.

5.00Unfortunately we were not able to go to volcano because of weather but the flight was still great. Saw waterfalls, humpback whales, and different view of lava fields.

5.00We had a fantastic time with our helicopter pilot, flying over the caldera of the volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii. She told us about the ongoing eruption and flew us over the crater where we could see lava glowing and smoke rising. We also flew over nearby forests and rivers and saw some waterfalls. It was my first flight in a helicopter and I enjoyed it thoroughly. We booked through Viator as it was cheaper than through the cruise line. After we got back to the airport we went to the zoo before going back no to the ship. It was a great day.
