Cruise in our cool retro Kombi (exclusive and personal with seating for 6 passengers only) along the coast line into the stunning Tuki Tuki valley, enjoy rural and river vistas. Stop for coffee (at your own expense) at the Red Bridge Container café. Drive up Te Mata Peak, enjoy truly panoramic vistas. Descend the Peak and visit one of Hawkes Bays premier fruit and vegetables outlets and sample some seasonal fruit. Enjoy a real fruit ice cream (at your own expense). Visit Arataki Honey Centre in Havelock North and enjoy honey tastings, live hives, and all things honey! Finish with Napier Art Deco city highlights. Commentary, lots of photo stops and rest rooms available enroute. This tour is perfect for cruise ship passengers. If there is time restraints due to docking and departure the itinerary can be adjusted to suit. Tour is 3.5 – 4 hours duration.

5.00We had so much fun with Craig in his vintage VW Van. He’s an excellent guide, warm and has a great sense of humor. Covered everything on the tour and also some hidden gems!

5.00Driver picks you up in a 1970's Kombi VW bus, in town and drives around to some beautiful spots, including a vineyard, in Napier. This is a must do for any VW Bus enthusiast, but also a great way to get chauffeured around in Napier. Side note, I accidentally left my backpack at the vineyard and the driver/owner drove me back to make sure i got any bag back, so thank you so much!

5.00This is a great way to experience Napier and Hawke’s Bay. Craig took us to a local produce stand and we had fresh cherries, nectarines and peaches. He drove us through the countryside to see apple orchards and world famous vineyards. We went to a honey store and got to taste all the local honey and have manuka ice cream. Craig drove us through the town and pointed out all the art deco houses and businesses. We had a wonderful day exploring Napier. We highly recommend for cruise passengers, Craig made sure to get us back to our shuttle on time!

5.00A wonderful day to spend with my Mother. The Kombi van was beautifully restored and comfortable, Craig was an excellent driver and host. Such a fun way to see the sights and Craig was very informative about everything and around Napier. A must to do if you have a day in Napier, highly recommend.

5.00Craig... the host was amazing! Friendly, fun, informative and so personable. Throw a VW van on it and it was so memorable. From roadside fruit stand, Hawthorne coffee roadside Cafe to the Te Mata peak with the art deco buildings at the end... only 1 other couple with us made stopping easy. Absolutely worth it and more. Big thanks Craig!!!
