Experience the flavours of Waiheke Island, a picturesque destination known for its wines, on a vineyard tour that includes lunch at an award-winning restaurant located right across from the beach. It's not every day that you get to dine with a beachfront view!
As you explore, take in the stunning sights of the island's beaches, villages, and homes while gaining insights into the local culture, history, geography, and Maori traditions. You'll have the opportunity to sample a variety of Waiheke wines, including Rosé, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, sparkling wine, and blends of Syrah and Bordeaux.
Indulge in a gourmet lunch at an acclaimed restaurant on the white-sand beach in Onetangi, located on the north coast of Waiheke Island. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Hauraki Gulf as you savour a delicious meal paired with a glass of wine.
After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Onetangi Valley, where we will stop to taste more award-winning wines at two vineyards.

11am: Cable Bay Vineyard Wine Tastings at cellar door, exploring a variety of Waiheke Island and Marlborough–produced, hand-picked and harvested award-winning wines From here we drive through Oneroa Village and Oneroa Beach, Surfdale Village, Ostend Village past the Golden Mile of Onetangi where most of the Vineyards are located to the beautiful East Coast beach of Onetangi. Lots of scenic and commentry.
Gorgeous local restaurant right on the beach at Onetangi for a set menu lunch with a glass of wine. This restaurant is a firm local favourite.

5.00Awesome trip to wineries and delicious lunch at a local restaurant at Onetangi. The bus driver named Rob was great fun. We weee the only Kiwis on the bus so it was great to chat to the overseas tourists about where they were from and what they hoped to see in NZ. A fantastic day with great company, stunning scenery and fantastic weather.

3.00Tour was rushed and disorganized. No one was there with a sign when we arrived at the ferry terminal and we went in search of the bus. Lunch was lovely but was not beachside or with a view of the beach as described. Gave feedback to tour operator as requested before rating on trip advisor but their response was unacceptable.

5.00Our driver and guide was very good at his job and made the experience so fun. Super pleasant and knowledgeable about the island. The wines were very good at the three wineries we visited. Highly recommend this tour with this company.

3.00After high expectations we had a disappointing experience probably not helped by several passengers delayed to a later ferry which caused the day to be rushed. The group of over 30 people was also too many for a premium tour and meant we could not often hear or understand the wine commentary at the three vineyards visited. The representative at Postage Stamp winery was verbose. Only three wines were tasted at two of the vineyards and four at the third which seems a bit miserable and were unpopular varieties such as Viognier and Rose which were acidic and lacked fruit and finish. The reds offered were also obscure and unremarkable. No Sauvignon Blancs, Chardonnays or Pinot Gris were tasted and only one Pinot Noir so this tour did not showcase New Zealand wines well. The tour guide whilst friendly was also unremarkable for an upmarket tour as was the ‘gourmet lunch’. There was almost no time to buy wine or experience the views and beach either as we rushed to the next destination and only barely caught the ferry at its conclusion. For a couples price of $534 this did not represent good value in any regard and could not be recommended.

5.00This beautiful island is worth seeing, even without the wine. But! Definitely drink the wine— equally worthwhile. The lunch location and food were also lovely.

5.00Nice and relaxing experience after 18 days of hiking in New Zealand. Good wine tasting and worth seeing island near Auckland. It looks like it is less rainy than in Auckland. Our driver Debbie was well educated about island and give us some knowledge about it.
