This tour offers the best views of any experience on Waiheke Island. You will visit three of the island’s world-renowned vineyards for wine tastings, along with a lunch stop at The Batch Winery, which boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Hauraki Gulf. From this vineyard, you can enjoy the stunning sights of Auckland and the iconic Rangitoto Volcano.
During the tour, you will sample a wide range of artisan wines and learn about the island from your local guide’s engaging commentary. We will visit the finest cellar doors on this tour, sampling award-winning wines and discovering the island’s unique winemaking conditions at each location.
Our itinerary starts with tastings at 11 AM, followed by lunch (at your own cost), and then we will head to Onetangi Valley for additional wine tastings. The grand finale will take place at The Mudbrick Vineyard. All vineyards offer breathtaking views, showcasing picturesque villages, beautiful beaches, lush vineyards, and charming homes.

5.00Good way to see the island, wineries, and have a stress free enjoyable time. We stayed at the last winery longer which was worth the taxi ride back to the ferry for a later boat back to Auckland.

5.00Had such a fab day out - a really friendly, comfortable way to see the island. Great amount of wine tastings over three vineyards with an additional spot for lunch. We were quite worried it would be really pricey as we're on a budget, but there's snacky options available or you could quite easily use the lunch hour to sit out the front and just have a glass of wine.

5.00Very pleasant day! Lunch. Was not included but there was a stop at a 4th winery where lunch and wine were available for purchase. Plenty of time at this stop. We stopped at three lovely wineries. Sharon our guide was super nice and proud to drive us around the entire island. Also recommend booking the Island Direct ferry - you can reserve a place and avoid the longer lines at Fuller.
