The 4-hour double-decker bus tour is a shorter, scenic experience featuring 2 iconic wineries, a charcuterie board included at one, a wine tasting flight served onboard the bus & a stunning beach walk. This option focuses on comfort, views, and a unique tasting experience while travelling through Waiheke’s vineyards and coastal landscapes. Throughout both tours, a knowledgeable local guide provides interesting commentary

5.00Sharon and Marie were absolutely lovely, had great local knowledge and took us to two stunning wineries, a beach, and a shopping strip, with plenty of wine on board in between. The perfect way to experience the island and a few local wines.

5.00Great views, great wine and even better staff! A really fun day trip out of the Auckland area onto Waiheke island, which feels like another world. You need to pay for your boat ride, but staff waits at the shore with names so you can find your driver. In total, there were just shy of 2 dozen of us on one bus, excellent air conditioning and sufficient legroom, even for taller passengers. Went to 3 wineries with a couple of scenic stops along the way, which made it much more enjoyable, rather than strictly a booze cruise. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend a day in the Auckland area, thanks for everything!

5.00Amazing wines, wonderful landscapes, very funny guide. I loved the walk! We were in 3 wineries and we were very well received always. Lunch is a bit expensive.

5.00A great day spent exploring a few of Waiheke’s wineries. Our bus driver made the trip. Noo’roa was charming, funny and genuinely interested in everyone on the bus. He asked questions and remembered people’s responses. We especially loved the last winery, MudBrick. The setting was spectacular.

5.00The wineries and food were wonderful. The challenge is getting to the island from Auckland. With the ferries running at capacity, it's important to be in line for an hour before your desired departure time. The tour company was accommodating, picking me from a ferry added to the schedule because of high demand. Only 8 of the 22 guests made it for the posted tour time, with the rest of us straggling in over the course of an hour. The company cheerfully gathered us up for what proved to be a fun and lovely day out.

5.00We had a wonderful Sunday on Waiheke with Rob as our guide. He was friendly and professional. The wines were delicious, and the island scenery was beautiful. A perfect day trip from Auckland. Highly recommended!

5.00A stunning day on a stunning island drinking some stunning wines. Our guide Noaroa got the day off to a great start with his cheerful introduction, and we visited three vineyards. The best guided tasting was at Stonyridge as that other hosts didn't guide us through tasting the wine in as much detail as they did here, but pretty much all the wines we tried were delicious. Thank you!
