This beautiful, boutique, authentic, scenic wine tour offers the best views and wines of Waiheke Island. You will visit three of the island’s world-renowned vineyards for wine tastings and a lunch stop at The Batch Winery, which boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Hauraki Gulf. From this vineyard, you can enjoy the stunning sights of Auckland and the iconic Rangitoto Volcano.
During the tour, our local authentic Tour Guides will give engaging commentary and teach you about the Island the culture and the people of Waiheke.
Our itinerary starts with tastings at 11 AM, followed by lunch (at your own expense) at a stunning venue, then we will head to Onetangi Valley for additional wine tastings. The grand finale will take place at The Mudbrick Vineyard. All vineyards offer breathtaking views, showcasing picturesque villages, beautiful beaches, lush vineyards, and charming homes.

Mudbrick Vineyard
Wine tasting at Mudbrick Vineyard, an idyllic setting with spectacular sea views out across the Waitemata Harbour to Auckland city. If any of the vineyards are unavailable on the day you will be advised and we will replace it with a vineyard of equal quality.

Beautiful Vineyard with stunning views aover the Hauraki Gulf, Visit Cable Bay Vineyards’ cellar door, exploring a variety of Waiheke Island and Marlborough–produced, hand-picked and harvested award-winning wines.

5.00This was so much fun for my first day in Auckland! Beautiful ferry ride, followed by a really fun day with wine tastings and lunch all over this beautiful island. If you’re into wine tasting, this should be the first thing on your list.

5.00Caleb was entertaining and informative. The different tastings at 3 wineries plus having lunch at a 4th winery was great. Five hours was sufficient time for the island tour and tastings.

5.00Rob was amazing. Great tour. Great wine. Great food at lunch. Great vistas. Highly recommend it. We visited three wineries, and had lunch at a fourth one (the lunch an wine at the second stop is not included in the tour price, but that is clearly indicated in the tour description).

4.00Driver/guide (Debbie) was very good. I was disappointed that the company sent an itinerary that they did not follow: we expected the lunch stop to be at the END of the day and instead it was after the very first winery visit, well before we were hungry. Also, we had to pre-order our lunch which is understandable to keep to a timetable but I see no reason why it was an abbreviated menu, not the full offering. Otherwise a lovely experience. Would recommend as safe and convenient way to visit multiple vineyards.

5.00Great day visiting the wineries of Waiheke! Our tour guide Rob was great! Very informative and made sure we stuck to our schedule. Waiheke is such a beautiful island with stunning views from beaches, vineyards and even Auckland! Highly recommend!

4.00Rob, our tour leader was great! The wineries and scenery were beautiful. Most of the wines were just fair, with a few good ones in the bunch. In retrospect, I should have booked the higher end wine tour. I probably would’ve enjoyed that more.
