Due to the delicate ecosystem within the Waitomo Caves, photography is not permitted inside.
Due to uneven surfaces & stairs, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
Not recommended for travelers with severe mobility difficulties - A moderate amount of walking is involved.

5.0Was an awesome experience. Driver and tour guides were very knowledgeable. Glow worm cave was magic. Only one fault the day was a little longer with lots of driving. Glad we went though!

4.0The cavern is a must see and the Tia park was very interesting, the place to eat was correct for sandwich in salad. The only point to be aware is that you are in the car for 7:30 to 8:00 on the tour. So consider this if don’t like the long drive, this is why I gave a 4

Spectacular glow worms and awesome experience at Te Puia

4.0The glow worm caves were awesome as were our experience at Te Puia. The geyser erupted before our eyes. Malcom our driver and tour guide was awesome, very informative and carefully navigated our group through heavy traffic on our return to Auckland. The only downfall is that this tour 2-3 hours each way from Auckland, and made for a 13 hour excursion.
Good tour, guide at geyser basin was a bit disappointing.

4.0In general, this tour was a good value. The cave portion was pretty cool. The stop at the geyser basin was a bit disappointing as our guide rushed through parts of the tour that needed more time (rushing people to the tour train just as the main geyser was erupting??).
