3.00You will only be on the boat for about 5 minutes and during that time you will be uncomfortably packed in like sardines. The tour could have easily been 15 minutes in total. They seem to drag it out to make it seem worth it. The facts presented on the tour are more based on climate change than the history of the cave. While climate change is important, we went for the worms and the caves. I would suggest skipping this one and just doing the 90 minute walk at Ruakuri instead.

4.00There were not as many glowworms as the advertising suggested. We enjoyed our chips and wedges from the restaurant. We were disappointed that our tour time was changed without our knowledge. We thought our guide did a good job. Exciting to be such a big cave. Great job on the strategic lighting.

5.00We enjoyed a delicious lunch before entering the cave. The gift shop was rather pricey, we only purchased photos of the cave tour which were lovely. The tour was so informative and so beautiful, the tour guide so patient and kind, this is a tour not to be missed!

5.00The glow worms are definitely worth seeing. It was a cool experience to see the glow worms in the boat. The cave part of the tour seemed to be mostly filler.
