Your journey will include a new and animal-friendly experience with the elephants through living with them in a peaceful sanctuary. Safety and sanitization are our first priorities; thus, elephant riding and bathing activities are not offered here. We work with professional mahouts to take care of elephants and refrain from any forms of cruelty. Since you are in Thailand, we would like you to learn a little bit of Thai culture. The journey will take you to get an authentic experience of traditional Thai culture through activities like rubber tapping, making coconut milk, and Thai food cooking sessions. This unique and astonishing journey is only available here at Bukit Elephant Park.

All visitors will observe natural behaviors of the elephants from a distance under guide's and mahout's instructions for everyone's safety. They will also learn about their fascinating history and their habits from our professional guides. The visitors will be able to feed the food to the elephants at a safe feeding areas with a fence between elephants and visitor. The guides, mahouts, and staff will closely be there with you to make sure that you feed them correctly and safely. Last but not least, Prepare yummy rice balls mixed with their favorite fruits and feed them in their mouth. During the tour, we do not allow any physical or verbal violence to our elephants in order to protect everyone's safety and our elephant's welfare. Moreover, we let our elephants walk freely in the park without the disturbance or any disruption from visitors at all. No loud noises allowed in the park. No drones, No flash photography allowed. Boots will be provided during rainy season. This is a mini guided tour program available at the following time 09.00-11.00 (morning) 11.00-13.00 (late) 14.00-16.00 p.m. (afternoon)

5.00We did the Phuket sanctuary Walk & Feed programme. We chose here as we wanted to find an ethical sanctuary, not one where you could ride them. There was more people than I thought there would be (as the website said they kept numbers down) but it was organised well and in a way that didn’t seem too crowded. We started off getting a bowl of bananas to feed to the elephants then took a walk around where the guide introduced us to each elephant and told us all about them (their personalities, where they came from etc). After meeting each elephant, we then made up rice bowls to feed to them. It was lovely seeing the elephants roam around at their leisure but sad hearing their back stories and what had led them to needing rescuing. Overall it was a great experience!

5.00We spent sometime looking at the vsrious elephant sanctuaries. This one ticks our boxes for being more ethical. No bathing with elephants or touching them. We were given backstories of Bukit and each elephant. We did feed them some bananas and made them rice balls. All the elephants have been rescued and were older. It was very peaceful. We did a 2 hour visit. It is very hot there. Take water. Good walking shoes. Sun crwam and a big hat

5.00Amazing to be with these majestic elephants and to observe them in their habitat. What a wonderful morning we had feeding and walking with them, even taking photographs to remind us of how privileged we were to be in such close proximity. This is a must do activity for visitors to Thailand however please remember that these are rescued elephants that have had miserable lives before being purchased by the sanctuary and their space must be respected. Thank you for allowing us to share this with you.

5.00What an awesome morning tour seeing the rescued elephants and hearing about there story. We started off hand feeding the elephants Bananas before heading off into the park to see the elephants up close. A great experience for the whole family.

5.00From the time that I booked the tour to meeting these beautiful creatures and hearing their stories, the experience was nothing short of incredible. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, and the carers had a genuine affinity with their elephants. To be able to see these creatures up close, and to know that they are able to roam free after a life of servitude is heartening. Well worth the visit and would highly recommend.

5.00This place was great! The tour guide shared stories of the elephants that they rescued and how they care for them. We were permitted to pat the elephants that were not too sensitive and it was such a privilege to be in their presence. Being able to feed them the rice/banana balls was also amazing. We have so much respect for what these people do for these animals.

5.00Amazing Park where they really care about the elephants. The guide told us about the very sad elephants background. No riding and no bathing. They have 7 rescued elephants and you can feed them bananas or rice balls (that you make mixing rice, bananas and watermelons). You can touch 3 of them and only under strict supervision of their caregivers. We enjoyed to see them roaming freely and relaxed. There is also a souvenir shop and a refreshing spot where they offer you coffe or Thai tea.
