Immerse yourself in the rich history of Antwerp in and around the historic center!

Our enthusiastic guide will show you around the city’s historic heart. You’ll explore the old center, including Grote Markt, Vleeshuis, and the picturesque Vlaeykensgang. The tour also takes you to beautiful places around Meir to end in beauty at the Central Station.

We organise this tour with a Dutch speaking guide every Wednesday and Saturday (2 pm). Our tour with English and German speaking guide takes only place on Saturday.

The guide was good. The walk instructive. Only the ambiguity where the walk begins bothered. I had to look for this on the website myself. None of this was mentioned on the ticket or in the reminder email.

Sylvie was our tour guide. She gave one of the best tours I have ever taken. Despite the rain and crowds, Sylvie walked us through all the major sites with detailed explanations of history. One of the high lights was going to top of the cruise terminal to get a magnificent view point of the city. At her recommendation, we had the best dinner at the Stock Exchange, incredible food and architecture.

Our tour guide Luc is really funny and knows how to give history without it being boring. I also enjoyed that there were only 6 of us in the tour. I love the architectural marvel Antwerp is! We will be back again for sure!

Not too difficult of a walk even for old folks like us, and yet covered a good deal of ground. Our guide Dirk did a great job telling us the history of Antwerp and explaining the art and architecture

During a business trip, we had the pleasure of discovering Antwerp with Walking in Antwerp, and we were not disappointed! Our group of 50 people has been divided into 3 small groups for an optimal visit. The 3 guides were excellent: between historical facts and original anecdotes, the two hours passed at a crazy speed. Special mention to our passionate and exciting guide Tom!

Our guide was knowledgeable and his manner and presentation were enjoyable. He gave us a good overview of the sights and history of Antwerp.
HIghlights for us were the Central Station, the Gran Platz guild trades buildings, and the beautiful Cathedral.

Our tour guide Tenne was extremely knowledgeable of the history of Antwerp, and therefore the story behind prominent sites such as cathedrals, important homes of major artists, as well as contemporary locations and events. She was easy to understand, and very patient in anwering our many questions.
