1.00I recently had a disappointing experience. I had only four hours to explore the city and decided to book a tour with them. I arrived on time and waited for 35 minutes. Nobody showed up. I then contacted the helpdesk, and while they attempted to reach out to the tour organizers, they were unable to get through. I went exploring on my own. They called me later stating that they had not seen my reservation, which I had made two days prior. Although they offered to arrange a tour, by that point, I had run out of time and could not take advantage of their suggestion. Overall, I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and the unfulfilled reservation. I could have spent my precious time exploring not waiting. I would not recommend this vendor.

5.00At the beginning of our stay in Paramaribo, we had a very informative city tour (one morning) with Marina Da Costa. She is historically versed and knows the stories behind the houses and monuments of her city. After all, the city's history is also her family history. She also shared interesting current information. The excursion to the Frimangron (Land for Free People) district was particularly impressive, but we found a gaping, fenced-in emptiness where Anton de Kom's house had once stood. Marina Da Costa's city tour was knowledgeable, entertaining, and warm – highly recommended! Johanna and Susanne

5.00Our guide (Mid) knew a lot to tell and it was a very educational, fun tour. I would recommend everyone to book this tour because we have been to places in Paramaribo where we would not go ourselves. Highly recommended! And very happy with our nice guide

4.00Overall - a pretty good tour. My husband and I were the only English speakers on the tour and felt like we were given a very "abbreviated" version of the information. It was extremely hot on the day we went (which is common here), and once early afternoon came it was simply too hot for us to continue and we ended our tour early. The price was fair, and on par with other tours we'd seen.

1.00I don’t even know where to start! Overpriced, the “English” speaking guide didn’t really speak English, didn’t seem to know anything about the various sights he took me too and had as much enthusiasm for being there as a dead door mouse. Sweet guy. But I think they must have plucked him off the street that morning. Really would recommend buying a SIM card and doing this yourselves. Will save you a fortune!
