5.00My family and I had a truly remarkable experience traveling to San Juan Lachao and zip lining. Our tour guide Alejandro was exceptional and provided a history of not just the surrounding region but Mexico as a whole. With his guidance we got to experience the mountains and local communities up close and he made us feel at home. He spoke perfect English which really helped us connect and learn invaluable knowledge about Mexico. If you go on any tours definitely ask for Alejandro!!!

5.00Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, 10 and 13 years old) had a fantastic day with our tour guide Alejandro. After about a 45 min hike to the waterfall we were able to cool off before heading to the zip lines. Both kids had a great time and were easily able to do the hike and zip lines. Alejandro and his crew were fantastic and made our day. I highly recommend this activity if you are in Puerto Escondido, you will not be disappointed!

5.00This was a lot of fun. Very beautiful area. Easy walk in the woods to get to the cascada and first zip line. Our guide was fantastic. As were the zip line guys. Well worth the money.

5.00We planned to spend the rest of the trip resting, but because of the destination we met Alejandro an extraordinary guide who spreads passion and love for Oaxaca. It took us to know San Juan Lachao, a very pleasant family trip full of history, nature and local food. Nothing like hiking and zip lines to purge citizen stress and recharge energy and attitude in the southern Sierra Madre of Oaxaca. Alejandro and the travel agency completely changed the perspective of everything you can find and know about Oaxaca and Puerto Escondido. Highly recommended. We went in the time of covid 19 and everything was safe and with the right measurements. Thank you so much 💜

5.00Victor and Abisai were amazing hosts - they were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had an amazing time swimming, cliff jumping in the waterfall area and exploring the zip lines with the locals. Next time when I go back to Puerto Escondido I would love to take their tours again!

5.00This tour was amazing fun. Our guide, Alejandro, was a fountain of information regarding the local history and also the natural history of this area of Mexico. The ziplining was fantastic fun, what a rush! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

5.00We had an amazing time with Alejandro! He answered all of our questions (even ones we had not related to the tour). I would give 20 stars if I could! The waterfall was beautiful, the zip line was a blast, and Alejandro is very knowledgeable about the area and he has the best laugh ever!! We would go on any tour with him again. In fact we booked another tour for the very next day which I will review also. We even met most of the family who runs the tour agency and everyone was wonderful!! Highly recommend! We’ve taken several tours and this was one of the best! can’t wait to return to Puerto Escondido and book more tours!

5.00I have already taken several tours with Valfred Tours, as the guides speak perfect English and are very knowledgeable about the region. Among other things, we stayed at a baby turtle release and in a lagoon at night bathing (bioluminiscencia), this was my holiday highlight so far. But also the cable car tour through the mountains was very impressive and I would repeat it at any time. Overall, Valfred Tours is in my opinion the most competent travel agency in Puerto Escondido with two locations in La Punta de Zicatela and up on the Carizalillo (Rinconada).
