White Desert
White Desert National Park is a national park in Egypt, first established as a protected area in 2002. It is located in the Farafra depression, 45 km north of the town of Farafra. Part of the park is in the Farafra Oasis (New Valley Governorate). The park is the site of large white chalk rock formations, created through erosion by wind and sand. It is also the site of cliffs (at the northern end of the Farafra Depression), sand dunes (part of the Great Sand Sea), as well as Wadi Hennis and oases at Ain El Maqfi and Ain El Wadi. The highest point in the park is at El Qess Abu Said (353 m above sea level) and the lowest is at Wadi Hennis (32m). The park serves as the refuge for various animals, including the endangered Rhim gazelle and the vulnerable Dorcas gazelle, as well as Barbary sheep; jackals; Rüppell's, Red, and Fennec foxes; and Sand cats.

5.00Our guide, Hazem, was just kind and showed us a lot of beautiful scenery. He made a lot of innovations to entertain us and it was a great memory. They introduced us to some of the most beautiful and unusual spots in the vast desert. While enjoying camping at night, the starry sky was the most beautiful I have ever seen and I was able to see a number of shooting stars. It has been a great trip!

5.00Although we had a little reluctance about spending a night in the desert, I strongly recommend venturing out, especially with Amir and his team. Perfectly attended and informed throughout the process. The amazing white desert, and the night in the black desert crazy! The dinner they prepare for you, the breakfast, the sunset, the stars... everything, absolutely everything! You must do it without hesitation!

5.00The trip was amazing, we really enjoyed it! We got to see the black desert, than the white one, with all the panoramic views. The night in the desert, camping outdoor under a sky full of stars was our highlight! Our guide Hazem was great and really made the trip special! A great experience!

5.00We had an amazing experience in this trip! Since the beginning untill the drop at our place. The views and desert are just beautiful, the night was full of stars, the best I have ever seen. Our guide was BadraDin, he was super respectful and kind gentleman who help us all the time and was really compromised into bring us a great time. He was in control of all details and prepare such a delicious dinner with candles after the sunset. He made fire and fresh tea all night, and was caring of all our needings. We are super happy with this trip, it's highly recommend!

5.00Really amazing. I made the desert of Algeria, Jordan, Morocco but nothing comparable with this experience there, it was splendid! In addition, we were in a small committee which gave the impression of being alone in the world and we were able to observe the stars with dozens of shooting stars as well as observing galaxies because we could see very well. Amazing and to do again without hesitation! Thank you for everything and great food!

5.00The experience of visiting both of the deserts white and black worth every dollar paid and sleeping in the desert is incredible. The tour guide is very kind and cooks an amazing diner in front of you.
