  I had an unforgettable experience, accompanied by Rolo. The rafting was everything and more than I expected. We received a clear explanation of the instructions in advance. Once on the water, our activity began with a water fight. A good way to just get to the refreshing temperature of the river. Rolo was a very funny man, who knew for sure what he was doing. He did his best to make our experience as positive as possible (which certainly succeeded). The nature is incredible, especially if it rains I would recommend this activity extra!! Rolo also gave us more information about the animals and nature during rafting. After the effort we were spoiled with a delicious lunch and fresh fruit. I would like to thank Oscar, our driver, aswell for the safe trip to San José. Thank you all for this great day!

  The amazing experience, from transportation to lunch. All very attentive and attentive to your safety, our guide Jorge, very funny and with a lot of experience, we would definitely return with him.

• Whitewater rafting and waterfall rappelling

  To begin with, the shuttle arrived early which was terrific. They were very prompt which was appreciated. The driver and the guide were very well informed and on the hour drive from Arenal to the Sarapiqui River, we learned so much about the surrounding areas especially when it came to fruit production. As for the actual rafting part, the guides did an excellent job of keeping us all safe while having fun. I fell out during a rapid and they were very efficient and prioritized getting me back into the raft as quickly as possible, making sure I was okay. The lunch provided was delicious. I also did a waterfall rappelling with Desafio and it was equally as amazing. If I go back to CR I will only book tours with Desafio! Amazing company and amazing staff!

  We did the 4-3 rafting on Sarapiqui with guide Davide, we had a lot of fun! The guides are very creative and enthusiastic, and the river and scenery is so beautifull. Afterwards we got a very good lunch and local fruits during our trip. Very much recommended!

  Rafting the Sarapiqui River was by far my favorite part of my trip to Costa Rica. The van was on time to pick us up. The guides were funny and easy to communicate with. It was my first time rafting and we did the Class 3-4 level. Our rafting guide David was great and kept us safe. The rapids were definitely flowing hard and while it was scary in the beginning, you get the hang of it and it turned out to be SO much fun. The lunch provided afterwards was delicious and the photographer captured some great photos. I definitely recommend using Desafio, you won't be disappointed.

  We who come from an area of great tradition of ràfting (Spanish Pyrenees) makes us sometimes more critical about the subject of comparison. The truth is that very well, very attentive guides, know each other to the dedillo the river. In the group always goes someone from the team in canoe in case someone falls and goes away, and they constantly explain things about the river and its fauna. Steve great job. Highly recommended the experience
