Disappointing Churchill tour

1.00Hugely disappointing, a tour that lacked coherence. The tour guide was unfocused and strayed on to a huge variety of irrelevant material. Brendan, would start talking about a particular subject and just leave us hanging, without completing the thought before moving to other subjects. Anecdotes were either unfinished or irrelevant. Far too many local recent British references for an international audience that was looking to understand Churchill and wartime Britain. The war rooms are excellent, given the chance again I’d simply visit the war rooms and forego the tour.

5.00This is a good balance between a fully guided tour and being able to do it in your own. Our tour guide (April 25 morning tour) was informative and engaging with stories of Churchill and the political environment surrounding him that add context to the experience. Highly recommend this tour!
