A zipline ride is a great adventure for all those who love the thrill of doing something challenging but at the same time very safe. The tour starts with a mere 3-minute car ride to the starting point which overlooks one of Iceland's major glacier, Mýrdalsjökull. From there it's a mix of moderate hiking in breathtaking Icelandic landscape through a river canyon named Grafargil. We walk on uneven ground and the ziplines that we've placed on unique places above waterfalls and rivers. We have two ziplines, 240 meters and 140 meters long and in between we have a little adventures, one which we've named The Leap of Faith. In the end, we normally have a very enjoyable walk back to the starting point by the old highway nr.1 While you are whizzing down the ziplines don't forget to look around and below you, because the scenery around you is incredibly beautiful and you will have the birds-eye view of it.

After we get dressed up in the zipline harnesses and safety equipment, we drive on to the starting point of our zipline track (about 3-5 minute drive). From the starting point we hike and zip all the way down to the hostel again.

Great guides! Funny and interactive. Very safe and knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommend if you want to see the beautiful sights of green mountains, valleys and rivers! Great experience!

My group and I had the best time!! Not only did we have fun on the zipline but we laughed so much throughout the day with Sammi and Mishka. We haven’t stopped talking about it and would highly recommend. thank you for a great time!!

What an incredible experience!!! Sammi and Mishka were amazing guides. Sammi was so funny and we laughed throughout the entire day. The landscape and views were breathtaking. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone in the area.

Beautiful scenery! Guides were knowledgeable and very funny. A great adventure, drive to the zip lines was around 3 minutes, terrific! If it’s been raining, be careful with the hike, some areas could be slippery. Especially for older folks (like me).

Highly recommend this zipline tour. Such beautiful scenery, easy walk to the lines, and great guides. I will be doing this one again if I make it back to Iceland!

Great fun. Trip leaders were enthusiastic and did a nice job. Hiking from line to line is short but lots of up and downs on narrow trails.

We were running a couple minutes behind and the guides were patient and understanding of the nearby construction, they gave us directions over the phone to get to where we needed. Upon arrival they were very kind and humorous, we had a great time with them!

We had an excellent time zip lining in Vik! We weren't sure what to expect as the description stated a 2 hour hike. We took a shuttle up to the area right off route 1 and the first rope was right there (throughout all 4 lines, you'd walk maybe 10 - 15 minutes total). It was just me and my husband on the tour! (I think they do a max of 15 people so be aware it may take you significantly longer than us) so it was really fun, fast, and enjoyable! Our 2 tour guides made us feel safe and made the experience fun! You never would have thought when driving on route 1 (which we were doing a couple times back and forth into Vik) that these beautiful valleys and waterfalls were back there! But it is Iceland and you never know what beautiful scenery you'll venture on to! Overall, we would definitely recommend!

Super fun experience. Should be twice as long by us. Youngest is 8 and this went fine. He is 25 kg and this was ok! We enjoyed the surroundings! Guidance was top!
