Places and alloted time were good. Guide was hard to hear as she didn't use a microphone when out of bus. Trip was a little pricy.

I missed booking online directly and thankfully Viator had availability. Our guide was super awesome and we enjoyed the experience very much. It can get really crowded. But the tour was fantastic!

After traveling through Austria and going on multiple tours, we decided to book this tour to see Zurich on our 1 day here. This was by far the worst tour we have EVER been on. Save your money and go to the Lindt museum on your own. Firstly, it was May 1st, also known as Labor Day in Europe, on our tour day. Being from the US, we did not realize everything would be closed. The company did not forewarn us about any changes to the routes and charged the same amount of money as we would have paid on another day. Once the tour started, they kept telling us the roads were closed. Our tour guide was one of the worst we have had! She told us around four times about cafes we could go to, implying we should go and return to the group at the time of the cruise. The group was incredibly large - maybe over 30 people, so that could be explain her desire to get rid of some of us. She also barely told us anything during the walking tour, focusing on “here’s where you can get a coffee” or “this is an expensive restaurant.” We didn’t learn much about the culture and history. The only worthwhile part of the tour was the Lindt factory, but this can be done without the rest of the useless tour. Overall, would not recommend booking this tour.

It was well organized and liked the walking experience. The chocolate factory overall experience was just not our thing. The history and explanation of how and where beans are sourced was interesting. We discovered we’re more interested in outdoor excursions.

An average tour

This was an average tour. We spent a good deal of time driving around town on a bus with lots of traffic and some commentary that was sometimes difficult to understand. The walk through old town was more like 15 minutes because of the traffic. The boat trip is 20 minutes and basically a ferry ride. When arriving at Lindt, via the ferry, you're provided a ticket and audio guide and then you can return on the ferry or on your own. The ferry to the museum, and the museum tour are things you can easily do on your own, so I'd recommend schedule a walking tour and then go do the other things on your own. Less money and you can fit it to your own schedule.

The tour operator was extremely helpful when I was late arriving to the meeting point (due to a very long slow line at customs control at the airport). Once I arrived at the meeting point, they were very helpful with getting me oriented to meet up with the group at the pier. They showed me a few stops I could do along the way to see some of the sights. Meeting up with the tour guide Ana was very easy. She even had a few options for me to return to the airport to ensure I didn't miss my connection.

It was great. History of city while on bus. Great sightseeing on the cruise. Beautiful scenery. Chocolate factory was amazing.

The sites visited were wonderful. The bus transportation expedited travel to sites. But the tour leader walked in front of the group so those in the rear could not hear. Tour needed audio earphones. . When asked to repeat what was said, we were met with the response to listen better. Would not repeat excursion.
