We are a group of 8 friends, 50 plus. We travel together each year and were looking for a tour that encompassed all of the Southwest Tours with an active focus. We like to walk and not be stuck stuck on a bus for hours and hours- this tour was PERFECT! We are so glad with found Bindlestiff. We booked the private tour as it was no additional cost with 8 people. The itinerary was exactly what we were looking for- exploring the parks with ample time, great hotels in prime locations and an expert local tour guide throughout. We enjoyed all of the parks equally as well as Monument Valley and spending the night along the rim of the valley at Gouldings Historic Lodge - the rooms have their own private balconies for optimal sunset and sunrise viewing! Magical in every way. We are already planning our 2027 vacation with Bindlestiff to Alaska.

We just got back from our amazing tour with Bindlestiff Tours. Extremely impressed by everything on this tour. The hotels were great, the tour guide was an expert in every way and gave unlimited info, stories, history etc about everywhere we visited. The parks are stunning. Customer Service was fantastic pre tour. The tour was full at 12 guests mixed from international guests and domestic- we had a BLAST! thank you for an amazing experience. We will be booking the new Alaska tour for July shortly!

A fantastic experience! Taking the grandkids out west before they move, we worked with Becky and booked a private tour for 6 and had a marvelous time. Bindlestiff and our guide Charlie, were tremendous. We had two birthdays on the tour, on pickup we had a birthday decorated van, cupcakes at Zion and doughnuts with sprinkles coming off the Colorado River! Seamless, comfortable, engaging, informative, professional, caring, I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Our guide catered to our needs and wants and ensured we got to do everything we wished for! Go with Bindlestiff, enjoy the experience of folks who know exactly what to see and how to get you there! We saw Zion, Bryce, Goblin Valley, Moab, Hummer tour, Moab Colorado River rafting, Arches, Canyonlands, El Patio, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Dinosaur Tracks, Grand Canyon rim hike, Helicopter tour, Delgadalitos on Route 66 Las Vegas, Speedcube in Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite and San Francisco. All with stops geared to our interests and our young travelers!!

I took this tour in Sept 2024 and it was one of the most amazing experiences that I have ever done. From my first inquiry and subsequent phone calls their customer service team was top notch. Really helpful and kind and provided a wealth f info to help me choose the right tour for me. The tour itself is hard to put into words as every part of it was so great! The organization, the views, the hiking in the parks, camping under the stars, meeting great people of all over the world- 12 in total. I highly recommend this company and I will be back to take to Alaska tor in 2025!!

I just returned from the most fabulous 11 DAY Southwest USA tour with this company- serious the best tour I have ever been on! Thank you to my amazing guides Amber and Hogan for making this truly a trip of a lifetime! I chose the camping version, campgrounds were great- all had full bathroom facilities, most had wifi and two had swimming pools and outdoor hot tubs! We had campfires each night and delicious camp meals under the stars. The sunrise at both Monument Valley (from my tent) is a memory etched in my mind forever! Thank you to Bindlestiff for making this dream trip come true!

Good trip overall but this is not an 11 day tour as such. Its split into a 7 day tour and a 4 day tour. You are not with the same people all the way through. Which I only found out on day 1. Booking office are not transparent on this and we're flippant on me querying this told me to 'just relax!' Which I didn't appreciate And fobbed me off with saying I had been allocated a single room in Vegas with no extra to pay.. all rooms are double in Vegas you don't pay single room supplements anyway. So this caused 3 days of anxiety at the start of my trip. The trip itself was great due ro the guides but the choices of campsites were pretty poor apart from one. Long way from facilities and often dirty and cheap campsites. Best one was Monument Valley as had a great view for sunset and sunrise. Not a cheap trip for camping. Would not put me off booking again which I've left feedback for with the company but think I'd still choose Intrepid or G Adventures for Adventure tours for a similar price as better accommodations and tours have dedicated tour guide with you on activities and continuous tour not split. Also these trips are not split into adult only and family trips. Worth noting for anyone not expecting children on their tours which can put a different edge on your experience

The trip should have made 2 years ago. Because of Covid 19, my dream has finally come true in June this year. West National Parks is my dreamed destination. With the direction of our tour leader,Treviso, he makes the trip fascinated and safe. The trip is quite ambitious in order to cover the wide territories and many scenic points within a short period of time. It is a bit demanding to the aged people, especially under this hot weather. I should also be grateful to have this group of travelling companions. People are helpful and well respected . We are always on time and efficient without any delay in schedule. Bindlestiff's arrangement is smooth and satisfaction in quality. I wish they could explore more travel destinations to enrich my dream world.

For an exceptional experience in a part of the USA we had never seen before; Bindlestiff Tours met or exceeded our expectations on all counts. Our escort/host/driver Treviso pulled it all together with a relaxed professionalism that put us at ease from the moment he pulled-up at the meeting place in Las Vegas. The first week we were part of a group of 14 travellers from Europe, the UK, North America and Oceana ranging in age from 14 to 74 years; half camping and the others, like us, overnighting in hotels and lodges. The final 4 days from Las Vegas to San Francisco, there were only three of us, plus Treviso, making for a very personalized travel experience. We had been apprehensive about the "3 star" hotel promise but all accommodations were more than satisfactory with many including good to great breakfasts. Picnic lunches on the tour were generous and wholesome offering good variety [always lots of fruit]. Pizza-night overlooking the Grand Canyon [after a brief thunderstorm] was spectacular while Treviso made good recommendations for those nights when dinner was not included. Bindlestiff tours are not guided national park tours. In the large parks, we were driven to the interpretive centre where maps and guides were presented so we could choose what to do; hikes from a few minutes to 4-5 hours, as easy or challenging, as we wished. Park Service free shuttle buses were available to get us to trailheads where Bindlestiff could not take us directly to the starting points. This was not an arm-chair tour. A good level of fitness was required to fully participate, especially as the hot weather conditions [most days at least 10°F above average] did not make things easier. This was entirely outside Bindlestiff's control as were the frequently poor-quality trail markings and maps provided by the Parks Service but we never feared getting lost or left-behind. When it was >110° in Death Valley the life-saving comfort of the van was close. The sole unfortunate experience was our escort's response to a tour member's complaint against a 3rd-party tour guide [and immediate filing, we were told, of a report to 'head office']. A quiet side-conversation with other participants would have revealed the complaint probably was based more upon sub-conscious racist and cultural differences than reality. It would be sad if our Native American guide were denied future opportunities because of an unfounded grievance and acceptance by Bindlestiff of the notion 'the customer is always right'. It's not just on Navaho Land that tourists should adhere to the directions of their local guide and I hope that our escort will gain patience that there is often more than one side to a complaint. Our final-day tour of San Francisco was enhanced by access to spectacular vistas that would not have been possible with the larger passenger van and trailer. The 2-year wait through the pandemic [our tour had been purchased originally for 2020] had been overwritten by 11 days of new friendships and memories to be held close for years to come.
