We specialize in whale watching in small groups, 6 to 16 passengers totals on our tours, This allows for a more personalized experience and why most people chose our tours over other competitors. Our vessels are 32 and 38 feet long" and 6 to 16 passengers, Our competitors are 38 feet with over 30 passengers. If you want to feel like sardines in a can or like cattle being herded together then our competitors are the choice for you. We provide Pickup and drop off from just outside the cruise ship facility.

What To Expect
All passengers need to be at our pickup location *30* minutes prior to tour time departure! We pick up passengers from the cruise ship port, 16 at a time. The drive from the cruise ship port to the harbor is 5-10 minutes. The tour is 3 hours this includes pickup and drop off to cruise ship port, from start to finish to find Humpback whales, porpoise, sea otters, eagles, seals, brown bear, deer and, possibly, orcas. There is no telling what we may see while out on tour. Our vessel is a 38 foot Power Cat that has bench seating, a heated cab, and an aft deck for viewing the wildlife. There is a restroom on board with a marine head. A big selling point for our tour is the lack of sea sickness. Our vessel rolls 78% less then the traditional mono hull. Our captain has over 30 years of experience. You will have a personalized, small group tour that is informative and comfortable. Note: Strictly - No children under 5 years of age.

5.00Nice size boat and small group. Excellent captain (Dennis) and guide (Justin I think). They were both great and kept an eye out for whale sightings. Cap knew how to stay close to the whales! And you get a snack too:) Crystal worked with us too when we ran into a snag. Thank you to all of them.

5.00We picked this tour because we heard the whale watching in Icy Straight Point was excellent. It did not disappoint! We saw a pod of orca whales and the tail of a humpback. The ride on the boat was smooth and calm. I tend to get seasick in rough waters but this boat was super steady. It was an excellent crew and a wonderful whale watching experience.

4.00Pros: 1. Comfortable group size: Having only 10 passengers on a clean, 16-capacity boat made the excursion feel very personal and relaxed, like a boat ride with friends. 2. Generous crew: The captain was kind enough to share his phenomenal pair of binoculars so we could get a better look at the shoreline. Cons: 1. Type of commentary: The crew kept us entertained with plenty of personal stories, but I would have preferred a bit less casual chatting and more structured information about Alaska, wildlife facts, and boating. 2. Crowded wildlife areas: We were able to view a group of whales from a distance, but they were surrounded in a cove by about 10 other vessels. Because the area was so busy, it would have been reassuring if the crew explained the safety protocols the captains use to keep the whales comfortable.

5.00This was a fantastic whale watching tour. The crew, Dennis, Bill and Johnny were great. Very knowledgeable and personable. The boat was very comfortable and we only had a total of 7 guests. Saw lots of whales, harbor seals, otters and sea lions. Plus a big bonus of seeing a juvenile grizzly bear along the beach. They were very accommodating by switching our tour time when our ship docked 3 hours late.
