What To Expect
Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail
The densely forested Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail is a solitary path. The drive up the mountain will definitely reward you with stunning scenery of the Smoky Mountains. En route you'll make stops to enjoy the spectacular views. You’ll learn all about the woodland that makes up the Smoky Mountains - chestnut oak, white oak, magnolia, maple and tulip trees. After reaching the pinnacle, you'll start your drop. This was the American Frontier during the 1830s and 1840s. Log lodges and plants remain from almost 200 years of history!

5.00We had Cindy #88 as our guide, and another gentleman in training. Sorry, forgot your name dude! They were both excited to share their place with us. No stone was left unturned, no joke was left without a punchline. Cindi may or may not have had to play parking cop so they could exit a parking spot in the mountains but if people were to listen to the-rules and follow the signs there wouldn’t be an issue, but that’s besides the point. We are so glad that they controlled the weather for such a perfect day. It made it even better. Make sure you come to this place and if you can’t get her as a guide, do so.

5.00David was a 15/10 guide! He kept us entertained with stories about the area. We stopped 3 places for pictures and he even let us play in the stream for 30 minutes. He was so helpful with my husband, who has very limited mobility. THIS is the tour -specifically with David- that you want to book. You won’t regret a minute of it!

5.00Absolutely loved our tour! Brian was knowledgeable, friendly, and quick with the “dad” jokes.😁 My goal for the trip was to see a bear and we did! We also saw owls and wild turkeys with their babies! Highly recommend this tour⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00What a great afternoon on the Smokey Mountains Jeep Tour with David. He was so knowledgeable on the area, from the National Park, to sights in Gatlinburg as well as Pigeon Forge. We had eight people on our jeep tour and David catered to each and every one of us. We learned so much, even though we come from NH and the White Mountains where things are similar, even having bears in NH, we learned so much about the history of this beautiful area of our country
