The roads to khati are under construction which leaves not a easy travel to the village. The place is nice though. I stayed at Dur gaon instead of khati.

The trip to jhuni, bageshwar, Khati village was well organised. The experience was one of its kind, which will go deep down the memory lane as one of the most scenic and memorable adventure. The stay and all arrangements were very well done and most reasonable in that region. The organiser was very proactive, mindful and well prepared for all the requirements and needs of fellow travelers. We were well prepared for the trip, as we were briefed in detail by the organisers. The warmth and love received by the villagers of Khati is indescribable in words. One of the best trekking and village walk experience I had so far. See you soon travelderness

Imagine Stunning Views of Snow Capped Himalayas almost in touching distance. A beautiful blend of High and Mid Altitude wildlife, especially the stunning birds. Hospitality from the locals, that could warm any heart on a cold winter night. Our homestay with its attached Western Bathroom in the room just blew my mind, cause in most localities one has to make do with an Indian style squat, or help add fertilizer to the outdoors. Still remember walking quietly along the turbulent and wild Pindar River, where the quiet of the surroundings with not a soul for miles at a time can be peacefully invigorating. Was really happy to add 5 new bird species to my already established, yet growing list of 600 over the years. Lastly, would like to show my appreciation to Sachin Pushkarna (Travelderness) for recceing out such beautiful wildernesses for us to explore, in an age where commercials have reached almost every known corner there is. The organisation, logistics, as well as the personal attention to detail was chalked out to the last nitty gritty, and thus made such a wilderness experience one of easy exploration and discovery. Looking forward to going again. 😀💓🙏

It was an awesome experience to be so close to the Himalayas and experience the village life. I was also lucky to witness a traditional village wedding and enjoy local delicacies. Sachin had planned out the entire itinerary meticulously and made sure that we had a comfortable stay. His knowledge on birds was a plus point as we spotted a lot of rare Himalayan birds in the trip. We also got to experience the first snow fall in the region which was simply breathtaking. A must visit if you love the mountains and nature.

A great experience. Painstakingly planned out to the last detail by our guide Sachin. I traveled with my 12 year old son and we had the time of our life. The first trek was long and tiring, It started to rain too but Sachin helped and motivated us - and helped us push through the tough parts. Second day onwards the weather was great, food was awesome, locals were warm and welcoming and we had the time of our life. Villages of Juni and Khati we amazing. The treks hard but rewarding. The best part was the camping at the Bajling Top. Unhindered view of the Himalayas, stars filled the sky in the night and again food cooked by our local guides made it more than perfect. Wish to visit Khati again soon.
