I had a great time. Our captain and crew went the extra mile for everyone, taking extra time with the beginners to make sure they were fully comfortable and at ease.

We had a good time on the Snorkel trip, the afternoon sail part of the tour did not happen which was very disappointing. We were told it would take too long as it wasn't a windy day. Ok, not sailors of the Pacific, but we do sail, and that was a perfect sail day. So I would say if you want to sail, maybe just focus on that and leave out the snorkel part. Otherwise the crew was great, snorkel area ok and motoring was very comfortable and scenic.

We had a great experience with Sea Paradise, so we did it a second time in the same trip! The boat was comfortable and the crew was engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment is well maintained and sanitized, and we were allowed 45 minutes in the water. If you've not snorkeled Kealakekua Bay, you'll be pleasantly by the clear ocean water and abundance of tropical fish!

The crew were so amazing. I noticed that they took time to call the people who did not arrive at the check in. On the boat, they took their time helping my family and others to put on snorkel (shout out to Myrissa for being above and beyond). All other crew members were excellent. They offered clean water shower when we got up from the bay. They described clearly where to see water. They even explained to me a smaller white spotted eagle ray. I'm attaching a photo of fish that the crew showed me.

Great experience. The crew was amazing. There were two bathrooms onboard, big enough to change in. Very roomy and clean. Snacks, sodas and water are provided. Snorkeling was fun. Lots of fish to see.

My husband and I came to the Big Island for our babymoon. We normally love to scuba dive, but couldn’t (for obvious reasons), so we decided to snorkel instead! After researching different groups, we decided on the afternoon sail and snorkel, and I’m so glad we did! It was a beautiful, smooth ride to our snorkel spot, and they offered fresh fruit and drinks to everyone. They also provided reef safe sunscreen! (Apparently the “reef safe” Beach Bum kind I ordered on Amazon is actually not reef safe unfortunately…) They were so nice with me being pregnant, and even involved our little guy in a cultural experience before getting in the water! We had the perfect amount of time to swim and saw lots of beautiful fish! On the way back, we had chips and drinks and enjoyed laying in the net at the front of the boat. Our guides were so helpful and patient as several people had never snorkeled before. They carefully explained everything to them. I couldn’t recommend this tour more! If you’re looking for a snorkel tour in the Kona area, look no further!

We really enjoyed our afternoon sail & snorkel tour. Our snorkeling experience is limited and the crew from Sea Paradise were so helpful and made it a memorable experience for us. The crew provided safety and educational briefings and we felt very comfortable by the time we entered the water. Of the three hours, we snorkeled for almost an hour at the reef near the Captain Cook monument and it was fascinating to see the many varieties of fish. We were surprised how fast the snorkeling time went, but it seemed just the right to see all that we wanted. If you're very experienced and want extensive snorkeling time, this might not be a good cruise for you. However, it was perfect for us.
