Your great local guide and the driver will meet you at your downtown Hangzhou hotel or train station if you travel by train, spend few mins to discuss with your guide the sites you are interested to visit or follow the following recommended itinerary. As private customized tour, the itinerary is totally flexible and can be 100% customized around you. Be sure to tell your guide if you need make any changes. Typically, start the visit at the UNESCO site West Lake ,enjoy a nice walk along Su causeway ,see some of the top 10 famed sites such as the Lotus park, Flower and fish pond which used to be a private imperial garden while learning the interesting folklores and history from your guide, you may choose to enjoy a relaxing boat cruise to fully appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the Lake.
Longjing tea fields
Next, head to the famous Longjin tea plantation, where you will enjoy the spectacular countryside view with vast tea terrace, enjoy a short hike along the lush green plantation and learn how to pick the tea leaves and learn the local fascinating tea culture and produce. Here you will take a break and visit a local tea farmer’s house and savor a delightful home cooked lunch based on your own dietary requests.

5.00We had a great experience with Dannie. We were a party of 5 with grandparents and a child. Dannie did a great job to make sure everyone was comfortable. She took the time to explain everything and we learned a lot at various sites. She also took us to a great lunch spot with authentic local cuisine. Highly recommend.

5.00Had a wonderful day with our guide, Grace for our 1st time in Hangzhou. Grace was super friendly and more importantly for the non Mandarin speakers, spoke very good English. She had a ton of knowledge of the sights we went to including the historic references associated with the places we went to. Highly recommended.

5.00Hangzhou is a must see. I heard about West Lake but was still amazed by its beauty. We also visited a bamboo forest and a beautiful Pagoda. Old Hangzhou was lively and the architecture is breathtaking. Our guide Leo spent 7 hours with us and was very knowledgeable and explained a lot of the history of Hangzhou. He even walked us to the entrance of the railway station to make sure we boarded the right train back to Shanghai. Also checked on us to make sure we got back to our hotel. Excellent guide!

5.00It was a bit rainy in the morning, but we really enjoyed the boat ride on West Lake. The scenery today was simply breathtaking—we had a perfect view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. We also visited Lingyin Temple and listened to our guide Leo’s insightful explanations and stories about Buddhism. The tea village in Meijiawu was a memorable experience, and we even found a well-known brand of milk tea. The ancient streets were charming, and our driver was always there to pick us up right on time. It was truly an unforgettable day!

5.00My father and I had a great experience with Ms. Han in Hangzhou. We had to keep to a specific schedule because we were leaving Hangzhou that afternoon. Thanks to Ms. Han’s expertise, and our driver’s punctuality at every location, we were able to see all the desired sights and make it to our train in the afternoon. 5.00We are so thankful we booked the private tour and that we got Phoenix as our guide. Traveling with two kids (ages 2 and 9) can be challenging, but Phoenix was incredibly patient. She came prepared with encouragement for the kids, guided them wonderfully, and even helped carry our little one at times. She was fantastic with them, and I'm so grateful for her help. Besides that, we loved the places we visited, and the cultural and historical knowledge she shared about them. It was also really helpful to have someone skilled at navigating the area to make sure our trip ran smoothly.
