A fascinating tea house, which aesthetically evokes an aura of the past. Its thatched roof and retro interiors make it a point of interest in Hakone. It is made famous for two products: Amazake (a rice-based drink, which has been handed down for centuries) and mochi. Optional Amazake cup (not included): about 500JPY
Hakone Shrine
It is the most important sanctuary in the city. It stands at the foot of Mount Hakone and faces the shores of Lake Ashi. Although its structure is hidden by the forest, the famous Torii located on the lake marks the beginning of the route.
