Dreu is a wonderful tour guide! We had a wonderful day, saw many beautiful things, learned a bit, visited great places and had a fantastic time. Dreu is very knowledgeable and respectful. He also was really funny and kept us entertained! Would strongly recommend!

A tour that features volcanoes, lava tubes, and stargazing at 6,000ft is easy to love and easy to review — everything was stunning! But what tied the tour together and put it over the top was an incredible guide, Dreu. He’s truly perfected his craft and he displays his mastery of the material, the island, and entertainment from the moment the tour begins. I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Crowd Size: Small - 12 people Best for: Couples, Families Length of visit: 12 hours

Dreu was the most fantastic tour guide. He made it so much more fun and took us to stops that weren’t on the itinerary. While at dinner, the volcano started shooting up flames and he took us back to the park for a few minutes so we could see it. He is extremely knowledgeable. He didn’t use notes at all and gave us so much information. He pointed out many constellations and just had an overall great personality. The tour was amazing and so worth the money. I’m very thankful we got Dreu as our guide. It would not have been the same without him. He even gave me some chocolates since it was my birthday. He is a man of many hats!

One of a kind. Great day. Long day but great. Food was delicious. We saw an actual volcano eruption.

This tour is definitely worth it. All the points are very interesting; despite being a 12-hour tour, it does not feel long. A special mention to our guide Félix, a true star!!

What a great experience! This was a very long day but we were well taken care of by out tour guide Todd. Todd handled all of the driving and navigation, provided our picnic lunch, gave us local history and details about the areas we visited. Highly suggest this tour for adults and older children. Need to be flexible and understanding as the weather can change plans.

Seeing volcanoes was the main reason I visited the Big Island, and this small group tour made the experience truly unforgettable. Dreu struck the perfect balance between educational and entertaining, and I especially appreciated his deep knowledge of and respect for Hawaiian culture. He went above and beyond to make the day memorable, even rearranging the schedule so we could witness the volcano crater glowing after sunset — an incredible highlight of the trip. I also loved the extra stops at the coffee farm, bakery, and black sand beaches, which added so much to the experience. Ending the evening with stargazing near Mauna Kea was absolutely beautiful and the perfect conclusion to an amazing day.

This tour is fantastic. Felix was wonderful and full of energy and knowledge! Wear layers and comfy tennis shoes. It’s a long day so pace yourself. Also, use the bathroom whenever the opportunity presents itself!
