The driver, Mark was excellent. He maneuvered that trolley car around those streets wonderfully. The guide was amazing. How great that she was a college history teacher who knew so much about the history of Richmond. We live in Richmond, and learned so much from her.

Meh. Couldn't really see much from the street level windows. Could barely hear the tour guide over the roaring engine. Wooden seats are uncomfortable for that long. No AC in yhe back...it was like a loud, shaky, mobile sauna that randomly slammed on the breaks. But they did provide a bottle of cold water.

Wonderful tour of central Richmond. My cousins all came up from South Carolina and I wanted to let the learn the history Richmond. We saw lots of great spots. Our tour guide was excellent.

It's a worthwhile windshield tour that was colorfully narrated by an articulate and friendly Richmond enthusiast, Jennie, who shared historical information and knowledge of current events and development plans. The effect of the tour was to create a general impression that Richmond is an attractive city, well deserving of serious consideration, both to explore recreationally or to consider as a place to live for education or employment. The two hour tour included one stop to stretch legs and take photos at an overlook. Trolley had adequate AC for a hot day, and water was provided.

Saw a lot of the historical and meaningful sites in a period of 2 hours. The guide was very knowledgeable and informative about every site. Adequate time was allowed as well as a stop to get out and explore a bit.

Julie was our host, and Clarence was our driver. Julie was fantastic...very knowledgeable, answered questions about things not specific to the tour with detail. The issue was the trolley's air conditioning was blowing hot air. It was incredibly uncomfortable. After about 45 min, we stopped at a park, and they opened the windows. That didn't cool it at all. Julie kept saying they'd be sure to look into it when they got back. That didn't help those of us on the tour. It was so much cooler outside than in the trolley. An air conditioned trolley is part of the ticket price, and we did not receive that.

It was a great introduction to the city! Really enjoyed seeing different neighborhoods and having them explained to get the overall layout of Richmond.
