Govindghat

Meet us at the Haridwar Railway station at 7 AM. Please reach Haridwar a day earlier to avoid any delays. We start the uphill drive to Govind Ghat. The drive will take up to 11 hours to complete. As you drive up the Bhagirath highway, with the Alaknanda river running alongside the way, you will start noticing the sharp bends in the road and the valley getting deeper and deeper. You will reach the base camp, perched at a height of 1920 m, late in the evening. After the long drive, rest for a while and acclimatize to the altitude. Grab your delicious dinner before heading to your guesthouse/lodge or hotel for the night.

Start the day early with a radiant sunrise and a gratifying breakfast! After which, we start the uphill trek to Ghanghariya, located at a height of 2926 m. The trek will take up to 7 hours to complete. The initial path is motorable and usually crowded with Sikh pilgrims to the holy Hem Kund. The terrain of the trek remains a gradual incline throughout the day. You will be trekking alongside the river most of the way until you cross it. After that point, the river will be out of sight. There are enough eateries and dhabas along the way, so there is no need to carry food for this day. Upon reaching, you can rest and check-in at the hotel/guest-house. You can also head out into the city for some exploration before calling it a day!

Solang Valley

Start the day at the crack of dawn, and enjoy the magnificent sunrise from your place of stay. We will start the trek immediately after breakfast to the Valley of Flowers, located at a height of 3505 m. The trek will take up to 7 hours to complete, and the terrain is a relatively easy, level walk in the Valley of Flowers. After walking for a while, you reach the gates of the Valley of Flowers National Park. After obtaining the ticket, we head inside to notice subtle changes in the scenery at first leading to a beautiful old bridge built over a stream bubbling through the park. After crossing the bridge, the scenery changes abruptly as the valley opens up on one side, revealing a stunning vista of a seemingly endless expanse of a carpet of flowers of all colours and kinds! You can spot Geraniums, Himalayan Rose, Blue Poppy, the Dog Flower and a lot of other species of flowers all in different vibrant colours After lunch, start the trek back to Ghanghariya for your overnight stay there!

Hemkunt Sahib

On this day, rise before the sun for an early breakfast! Start with the preparation for a relatively difficult day ahead! This day, you will undertake the trek to Hemkund Sahib, at an altitude of 4300 m! The trek will take a total of up to 10 hours to complete and the terrain of the trek remains steep throughout. Start the trek up the steep path, and you will soon come across a small waterfall as the vista starts improving. As you go further up, you will start noticing the declining levels of oxygen in the air. Take plenty of breaks along the way to avoid altitude sickness. But the stunning vistas will be more than enough to distract you from the struggle. When you finally reach the Hemkund Sahib, take in the serenity and tranquillity pervading the area as well as the picturesque sight of the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara, alongside the lake. With the rare Brahma Kamal visible every now and then, it is a beautiful sight to behold! You will be staying in Ghanghariya for the night!

Govindghat

Start early for the descent back to the base camp. After another glorious sunrise and satisfying breakfast, we start a gradual decline. The aim is to reach early so that you have enough time left over to be able to explore surrounding places like Auli as per your leisure. This is where you will be staying overnight!

Haridwar

Start with a fulfilling breakfast and then we leave for the long drive back down to Haridwar. You will reach Haridwar late in the afternoon, as your journey with us comes to an end!
