Dolphin sightings are guaranteed! As we seek our local dolphin pod, we will navigate the scenic back bays of Orange Beach, Alabama. Our knowledgeable tour guide and captain point out the local flora and fauna. You may see osprey and their nests, herons, bald eagles, and red-tailed hawks. The Explorer allows us to get as close as safely possible to the banks and the local marine and wildlife. Because the boat only needs 16 to 18 inches of water underneath, we can sneak into creeks where few other boats can go, providing you with a truly unique and memorable experience. 5.00We originally booked a dolphin cruise, and the day before the trip they called to offer an upgrade to a sailboat—and I cannot recommend doing this enough… seriously, take the upgrade if you get the chance! The captain and crew were absolutely amazing. They created such a fun, relaxed vibe with great music while also sharing interesting facts about the wildlife we saw along the way, including blue herons and several dolphins (we even saw a baby dolphin, which was a huge highlight!). The whole experience had the perfect ambiance—laid back, beautiful, and never rushed. The views were absolutely incredible the entire time, and the 2-hour trip was the perfect length. This ended up being one of the absolute best parts of our trip. If you’re considering it at all, do it—and definitely upgrade to the sailboat if offered. You won’t regret it!
