Yellowstone National Park is one of America’s great treasures. This full day safari will show off the highlights of this incredible place; volcanic thermal features, giant waterfalls, diverse wildlife, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and Yellowstone Lake.
Throughout the day we will drive scenic roads, walk historic boardwalks, enjoy the peace of natural landscapes and use our optics to view wildlife. Your guide is your driver, and their goal is to cover as many of Yellowstone’s famous features as they can in a day.
The guides at Yellowstone Safari Co. will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

What To Expect
Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park West Entrance Gate Your exact route and itinerary will be determined by your interests, current wildlife sightings, and current weather and road conditions. Our guides are all highly experienced, with thousands of hours in the field, and will expertly tailor your safari to you and your group. Summer is construction season in Yellowstone National Park and sometimes this can impact our tours. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park and your guide will do their best to navigate road closures, traffic slowdowns, and construction wait times.
Firehole River
The Firehole River is surrounded by geothermal features, which heat the water flowing in, effectively increasing the average water temperature of the river. Despite the high mineral content from the geothermal heated waters, the Firehole River supports robust aquatic life, including brown trout and rainbow trout. Our tours are customized for each departure. We may not stop here on every tour. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park.

5.00Kyle was an enthusiastic tour guide. We were able to see many animals, several geysers, mud pots, lake Yellowstone to name a few. Kyle did express some frustration with the traffic and what we would miss due to the traffic. This was not necessary since we had never been to Yellowstone. All of us loved the tour despite the traffic. Lunch was terrific and even accommodating to our gluten free and vegetarian family members.

5.00Today we were fortunate enough to have Maya as our tour guide. We ended up with a fabulous group of people and Maya catered to every desire we had! We were able to explore and see SO much! It was beautiful! Highly recommend.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed our all day outing, guides Cody and Aaron were full of information and accommodating of toilet stops, very friendly and kept our interest. Also gave book suggestions for those of us wanting more information. We would go with them again! I felt safe as well as they seemed to be on alert for animal signs. The lunch was excellent.

5.00Amazing day in Yellowstone! The geothermal features were amazing! Elizabeth was our guide and she was so sweet and so knowledgeable! She took us to all the great spots! We saw lots of wildlife and a lot of geysers. She perfectly timed our old faithful experience! And we had the most ideal lunch on the Yellowstone Lake! I highly recommend this tour!

5.00If I could give 100 stars, I would! We had an amazing time on our tour today, and our guide, Elizabeth, was phenomenal! She was so knowledgeable and took us to all the areas we wanted to see, plus some other spots she wanted to show us. We saw so much wildlife, and when our tour was over, she gave us a map and marked some more areas that she recommended that she knows we’ll like! I wish we could bring her with us on our other trips we’ll be taking into the park!

5.00This is a tour that highlights both wildlife and the natural wonders that Yellowstone offers. Matt Macoy, our guide, was knowledgeable, personable and had a good sense of humor, which made the trip both fun and educational. It is also a small group tour (7 people on this trip) which allowed for good interaction between all of us on the trip. The combination of an experienced guide, good weather and the wonders of Yellowstone made for a memorable trip.
