What To Expect
Kandariya Mahadev Temple
This privately designed tour will start with your driver picking you up from your hotel at 9:00 in the morning. The guide will describe the tour plan in detail. Your first stop will be at Kandariya Mahadeo, the Shiva temple in the Western Group. It is the largest temple amongst all other temples here, standing 31m high has a Linga in the main sanctum. It is the most typical temple with detailed and intricate craftsmanship on the stone walls.
Chausath Yogini Temple
Your next stop will be at Chaunsath Yogini Temple. Believed to have its formation in 900 AD, this Kali temple is the earliest temple amongst all in the group. This is the only granite temple here.

5.00Khajuraho trip is a must for Hindu Temples. The guide presentation was very professional and very focused on the main issues. We've seen the best of each group of temples: western, eastern and south. At the end, the guide took us to some presentation rooms where we could shop at local prices. Everything was covered in around 5h which was good enough to see the best of Khajuraho.
