Explore the brewed flavors of Maine! Take your tastebuds on a trip around the state and explore the wide variety of beers and ciders being produced right here in our state. Participants will be introduced to six Maine-made ciders and beers from six different producers - and hear the stories behind the brewers that brought them to your glass.
This guided, 30-minute experience is a fantastic introduction to Maine's beer/cider landscape and history. We recommend scheduling this class at the beginning of your time in Maine so you can take advantage of all you've learned during the rest of your trip. Stick around afterwards for personalized recommendations from your MTC host about wineries, breweries, markets, farms and other agritourism experiences to seek out while in Maine - customized to your interests and the regions you plan to visit while in Maine.

What To Expect
Your guide will walk you through a flight of six brewed beverages, including both beers and ciders in a variety of styles. Learn about the styles represented, the types of brewing ingredients that are produced here in Maine (hops, malts, apples, etc), and the stories of the breweries themselves. **Note: This activity typically takes place at a high-top table in our Tasting Room. If you require access to a standard dining-height table for this activity, please text or call us at the number listed in advance of your activity time to let us know. If we don't pick up, please leave a voicemail with your request!**

5.00This was such an interesting, educational and enjoyable class. Our guide, Sarah was so knowledgeable and easy to understand. It was very relaxed and we felt welcomed and comfortable. We asked questions and Sarah was able to clearly explain the answers to us as we sipped the delicious samples of Maine produced beers and ciders that were given. We highly recommend stopping here and taking any of the Flavors of Maine classes that they offer! Great experience!
