What To Expect
You will be picked from your hotel early in the morning for the 3-hour drive to the Temple of Mars in the town of Vaitheswaran. Mars is said to bestow valor, victory and strength. Believers take a dip in the water tank of this temple as it is said to have curative powers for skin ailments and also removes obstacles in getting married.
Mercury Temple
Next visit the Temple of Mercury located in the town of Thiruvenkadu, 10 miles away. This temple has been mentioned in the Hindu epic, Ramayana, and is believed to be 3,000 years old although it has been reconstructed over the ages. Mercury is said to bestow wisdom and intellect.

5.00These are Navagraha temples constructed within short distances from each other, in case you don't have personal vehicle, then please hire a cab/ get a tour service. We were on our personal vehicle and could visit the Mars, Mercury, Rahu and the Ketu temples, due to shortage of time. The temples close between 1 PM to 4:30 PM. All of them are huge and very beautifully constructed. The Mars and the Mangal temples are within 12-15 km within each other.
