Not enough history about Oxford or the river, Shipper more interested in telling us about himself and his family

Tranquil and beautiful trip in perfect weather. Cool glasses of bottled water aboard much appreciated and our guide Joe was so friendly and entertaining with anecdotes and information along the way. So appreciated the kindness and assistance for my 92 year old father who thoroughly enjoyed being back on the river having been a rower himself many years ago. Thank you for a perfect Father’s Day afternoon. Highly recommended.

A lovely, peaceful (our boat was electric) cruise along the Thames and the Cherwell, past the colleges and boat sheds, and magnificent houses. Ollie our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Good value. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, we felt the tour provided very little information about Oxford, and the boat ride wasn’t as engaging as we had expected. At £50 for a 30-minute trip for two people, it didn’t feel like particularly good value. However, the student guides were lovely, friendly, and very sweet, and their enthusiasm was appreciated.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience on this boat tour. I was blessed with beautiful weather and blue skies and the university rowing regatta was taking place, which was interesting to experience as part of the tour. Highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Oxford!

A lovely relaxing trip along the river. Oscar, the captain, was chatty and friendly and shared lots of information. It was a relaxing trip on a gorgeous small boat. Would highly recommend.
