The hike between the canyon walls was fun and beautiful. The guide gave us person insights and background related to the Navajo People and their relationship to the land. It is a great place for photos especially if you get the right time of day for the sun rays peaking between the canyon narrows.

Our guide, Malcolm, was engaging, funny and helpful. He took pictures for us and told us how to take better ones ourselves. The canyon was stunning and we learned a lot about the area and formation. Horseshoe Bend was beautiful as well (we were there at 11:00 and it was just HOT), the private viewing area was worth it driving by the public parking area. We CHOSE Deer Spring Tours after a long and careful online search and watching tons of videos. They cap tours at 12 people and there was NO RUSH. We did encounter another tour from another company briefly but it was quick and friendly - the companies stagger their times and avoid this.

Malcolm was our guide and he was great. Told us about the canyon and explained how they were made. Took as much time at each that we wanted. He took our pictures that were amazing! Loved that our access to Horseshoe Bend is private as well so no crowds. Also didn’t have to pay any fees like at the regular access point. We were in a group of 12 people so when we went to the canyon we were the only group in there at the time. As we weee leaving the next group was coming. Would highly recommend going with them.

An incredible opportunity to experience a slot canyon and Horseshoe Bend overlook without the crowds. With a small group of just 12 people, you truly feel like you have the entire place to yourselves. Our tour guide, Gail, was exceptional — she helped each of us capture stunning photos inside the slot canyon. The tour takes place on Navajo lands, so it's important to come with a spirit of respect for both the guide's direction and the land itself, just as the Navajo people do. The time spent walking through the slot canyon was perfectly paced, and the walk itself is easy and accessible for most fitness levels.

We booked the Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend tour and it was hands down one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our guide Trey was absolutely phenomenal — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about sharing his culture and the canyon with us. What made this experience so special was the intimacy of it. With only 16 people in our group, we had the entire canyon to ourselves. No rushing, no crowds, just pure awe. Trey knew exactly where to position us for the best photos, showed us the ideal camera settings for each spot, and even took beautiful family photos for us that we'll treasure forever. The moment that brought tears to my eyes — Trey played his Navajo flute inside the canyon. The sound echoed through the sandstone walls in a way I can't describe. It was deeply moving and something none of us will ever forget. The private Horseshoe Bend viewing area was the perfect finishing touch. No walking long distances in the June heat, no fighting for a spot at the railing — just an unobstructed, breathtaking view of the Colorado River 1,000 feet below. It felt like it was made just for us. If you are deciding between this tour and the crowded Upper Canyon experience, choose this one without hesitation. The small group size, the private access, and a guide like Trey make all the difference. Worth every penny and then some.

This was an awesome experience. We were fortunate to have a private tour which enabled us to leisurely enjoy the slot canyon and take photos. Tyron did an excellent job sharing stories and taking photos. We were not rushed in any way. Also the private viewing area for Horseshoe Bend was fantastic. This company did a nice job of communicating, was easy to find the meeting location and had a comfortable waiting area with bathroom facilities. The tour was 3 hours in length which was great allowing lots of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and take it in without the large crowds. Tyron was very respectful making sure we saw everything and answered all of our questions. Great Job!

The trip was well planned and timed appropriately with plenty of time at the canyon and time to see Horseshoe Bend. We went at the 9am time slot and the sun in the canyon was great for pictures. The drive out to the canyon was fun and allowed us to see the surrounding area. Would highly recommend this trip to others. It is worth the money for the smaller groups and individualized attention.
